Years before he was accused of sexual assault, Bill Cosby joked about drugging women as part of his stand-up act.
On his 1969 stand-up comedy album

Cosby got this sick fantasy of power over women’s bodies quite young.
His whole MO was that the girls were drugged unconscious.
He is not turned on by a woman who is hot to receive him. He is turned on by a comatose victim that he defiles. He’s a rapist.
An equal argument could be made that the joke led to the charge. It proves nothing.
I am inclined to think that he essentially paid for services. These woman now regret it. It still makes him a bum and a fraud. But it does not make him a rapist.
I read someone said that there was too much stigma attached to rape back then and so no one wanted to come forward. I am old enough to remember those days. That simply is not true. History is littered with women willing to do anything for fame and fortune. Victims don’t tend to come back for more.
He made some good bank robber jokes too... does that mean he robs banks?
“Hes a rapist.”
And apparently, you’re a judge and jury.
I think some stuff is coming out about Obama. So, the Cosby scandal is a preemptive strike to make Obama’s story fall under the radar.
But, because Cosby once told young black men to pull up their pants, I think I'm supposed to believe none of this could possibly be true. Or at least totally ignore it.
Spanish Fly jokes were a dime a dozen back then, as many of us mentioned on another thread. When I was a kid it was one of the standard jokes in my prep school. It meant nothing.
Pile on, pile on, reporters of the left! Here’s your chance to go after an Uncle Tom on instructions from the PC Establishment!
If a dozen banks identified him as a guy who robbed their bank, then yeah, he probably would be a bank robber.
he might have been doing that for a long long time
The curious thing for me, is that the media is all over this Cosby thing, but they kept away from the Clinton accusations. I can only conclude that by and large, the media is believing the stories about Cosby because he is a black man. In their collective estimation, it is far easier to believe a beloved Black comedian is a rapist than a beloved White politician.
This is a stretch. Unlike roofies and other date-rape drugs, Spanish Fly was an aphrodisiac (and although it does actually exist, it was more of an urban legend back then).
Yea, it's normal for banks to wait 30 or 40 years to mention that they've been robbed.
I bought this album when I was ten years old. Listened to it many, many times.
I didn’t see the connection with the “Spanish Fly” joke to the current allegations. Probably because there isn’t one.
You trying to compare banks to rape victims does little for your argument.
I guess you need it explained for you. My point was that someone joking about something doesn't necessarily mean that they do that activity themselves. Cosby joked about a lot of things... including jokes about dumb bank robbers. A joke is proof of nothing (except a sense of humor).
No, your insinuation was that since he’s obviously not a bank robber, then there’s no proof that he’s a rapist. Nobody cares about some silly article that draws a nonsense comparison. But that fact that there is so much to support the rape claims stands on its own.
Here’s an interesting article about Cosby and Robert Culp:

What if they only reported the bank robbery 30 or more years after it allegedly happened - right after the alleged perp said that politicians who befriend banks are lawless thugs?
what if they say they didn’t report it at the time because 30 years ago they didn’t think the bank had been robbed, and couldn’t convince their accountants or the cops that the bank had been robbed?
That’s not a joke, it’s a “red flag!”
