After just two days, a petition in support of the Duggar family is poised to overtake a separate petition on Change.org attacking the family for their conservative beliefs on the family that was launched in September, and that received a flurry of media coverage this week.
The anti-Duggar petition criticizes Michelle Duggar, the mother of the large Christian family featured in TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," for opposing a "transgender" bill in Fayetteville, and demands that TLC yank the Duggars' who from the air.
After large mainstream media outlets, including E!, the Huffington Post, and the Washington Post, highlighted that petition effort this week, the petition picked up speed, gathering over 140,000 signatures, and even more media coverage.
However a counter-petition launched by LifeSiteNews on Thursday has rocketed upwards, gathering over 120,000 signatures in less than two days, and is continuing to gather new signatures at lightning speed.

Unlike the Change.org petition, the pro-Duggar petition has received almost no help from the media.
However, LifeSiteNews petition does have big name stars backing it, including the Benham Brothers, whose own reality TV show on HGTV was cancelled after gay activists launched a campaign highlighting their traditional Christian views, and social media star and former Fox News contributer Steven Crowder.
The Benham Brothers have condemned the effort to remove the Duggars as being part of "the same intolerant agenda that attacked our family."
That agenda "is now demonizing one of the most wholesome families in America," said the brothers. "The Duggars have always been an example of Christian love for each other and society. It’s time for Americans to stand with them against this latest manifestation of anti-Christian bullying."
Looks like the thought police will have to police somewhere else. God bless the Duggars and Duck Dynasty for standing up for liberty, freedom of speech and religion.
Now at 152,000! Only a couple thousand more to overtake the fascist petition!

There the tolerance types go again, trying to lock those breeders in the closet.

Doesn’t the tolerance crowd have their own shows on TV? If so, what do they care? It’s entertaining to watch a family of 2 parents and 17 children handle itself so well. This is from a person who cannot hope to have that many children, along with the rest of the US. families.
Not just somewhere else, go and enjoy their own shows. Can’t they just go enjoy Modern Family or numerous other shows out there. It goes beyond just actual behavior. In the case of the benham brothers, it was a target call. The brothers had no problem selling to homosexuals, and even were hospitable to an interviewer who was homosexual. It’s so irrational and insane sometimes it worries me that possibly people of certain religions may not deserve work, food, or anything.
That is the goal. They want to make sure the level of intimidation is enough that even if someone doesn’t agree with the activism of LBGT they won’t dare speak up or express those views. This started years ago in academia. The left and homosexuals largely took over academic research departments studying human sexuality. It doesn’t matter what 50 years of research said before that has been discarded and if you dare suggest any different you will pay dearly with your career and reputation.
All I am saying is that you don’t have to even commit any offense. With the Benham Brothers, they picked them out as a target because their church doesn’t marry people of the same gender. It’s a dangerous precedent in that sense, because you don’t have to say anything. If anyone simply outs what evil religion you are a member of, they can rat you out. The only part that limited the damage to the two brothers after they went off the air was public outrage against SunTrust Bank on the grounds that they weren’t discriminating by their own physical actions, this was being done out of bigotry. It’s all a question of when we don’t see enough outrage and threats to cut down a business that we will find that the government and any given business can reserve full right to discriminate against you, even if you don’t express your opinions, and even if you don’t say anything contrarian, all they have to do is find out which “evil” group you are a part of to take action. The only factor obstructing that is the fact that public outrage for discrimination going this far exists, and they will keep trying till they don’t find much.
Yeah that is the way its headed but the Benham Brothers did affirm their support of Man Woman Marriage and that was all it took. That is one reason I’m so passionately opposed to political correctness and thought police type behavior.
