Virginia Voting Machines

Just voted in Fairfax county.

Machine takes ballot and simply indicates that I voted.

It doesn't provide any indication of how it actually scanned my ballot so as far as I know, I could've just voted for Dr.Doolittle.

Sounds like good potential for electronic voting fraud here.

Same machines that we have in this part of NY. Last election, I asked one of the poll workers how I can verify that my votes tabulated properly - he seemed perplexed by the question at first, then just shrugged his shoulders. This response obviously didn't inspire a lot of confidence.

At least they have a physical ballot to go back to that doesn’t have any doubt on how you voted, i.e. no hanging chads.

I’m also in VA. The electronic voting machines in our area will give you a final summary of all of your selections(votes) before you submit your ballot. Did you not get that screen?

I don’t know whether they use the same machines state wide. Before 2004, we still used the old mechanical machines where you flipped switches and pulled a big lever. Votes for Eisenhower were probably cast on those machines. LOL

In Ohio, I can read a paper tape that pages through each corresponding display ballot page, so I can verify the final, although, no one really knows what was stored on the chip card handed to the poll worker.

I thought that too but you still can’t tell how it was counted.

If going electronic, they should have results online.

Say you’re assigned a number when you get there. Something like a polling place number concatenated w/a sequential number.

Have them publish all results online so you can not only check how your vote was counted but you can tabulate the votes yourself.

Would actually be easy to do though you’d need enough servers to handle the load. That’d be a bit pricy, but worth it. I think the integrity of the vote is essential to freedom.

If ballots don’t count, there’s only one way to stop tyranny.

So, it’s either ballots or bullets.

We have to get back to voting by hand with the blue finger finish. As long as there is a chance for fraud the Marxists will attempt it.

Seriously?

Not every thing is a fraud conspiracy. Good grief!

If we are to go by every breathless report on FR, the Democrats will win every race for House and Senate and have a 100% majority.

No, in fact I saw another post w/a screen shot of what you describe.

Mine was not a machine where you enter votes on screen. I filled out a paper ballot and put it in a machine that scanned it.

I’m in Colvin precinct, which is associated w/the following:

Cong dist = 010
Sen = 031
HSE = 034
Local = Hunter Mill

Electronic voting machines will be the downfall of The Republic.

Allowing women and non-landowners/non-business owners/non-taxpayers to vote has been the downfall of The Republic.

I presume yall are using the same machines we have here in Florida, at least in the Northern counties. They are about the same as the old paper ballot dropped in a box . They are far superior to the touch screen machines which are so open to fraud that the actual vote is irrelevant. The ones we use take a paper ballot which is retained and is good for a recount. This voting is, of course, open to all the traditional fraud practices such as aliens voting and dead folks and people voting multiply or stealing absentee votes, but this sort of fraud requires a lot of manpower and attention to each polling station and can be minimized in Republican leaning areas.

The touch screen machines retain no record outside of the digital output which is downloaded by a single company and is manipulable in a central location. George Soros apparently has an interest in the single company which "counts" the votes so the touch screen vote count is what he says it is. There is no recount actually possible. The machines are wiped clean when downloaded and the initial programming can be set to register Democrat when the voter inputs Republican. A proficient or properly instructed programmer can program them to show to the voter that his vote has been properly registered while actually registering a different choice. The multiple instances so far of the screen reading "Democrat" when Republican is voted indicates lack of attention to detail on the part of the programmer. Most such fraud will not give itself away on the screen.

I learned recently on FR that most of the touch screen machines have been retired as overage. I only hope that the ones still in use are all or mostly in hopelessly socialist states like Massachusetts or California where all possible efforts will be made to manipulate the vote count anyway.

I recommend you go to wavy.com right now. It is breaking news on the noon TV newscast. Machines all over Virginia Beach are switching votes from REP to DEM. The first report came in at 6:22 this morning. The video they are showing clearly shows people depressing for the REP candidate only to have the machine switch to the DEM.

e voting was sold as more efficient but it appears the whole idea and implementation of electronic vote and vote counting machines was to perpetuate vote fraud and confusion to favor the communist democrats and that the individual(s) who programs the machines can not be exposed or criminally charged for rigging the machines. Not that anyone has ever received a just sentence for committing vote fraud, it ought to be life in prison.

The reliability of these machines is about the same as paper votes dropped into a box. The accuracy depends on the counters and the result is open to recount. When fraud is challenged in court the challenge may not be successful but the shenanigans of the fraudsters usually become visible and obvious as they twist and stammer while covering their burros, even if not correctable.
