Latest liberal over-the-hill has-been is Dolly Parton, spouting her views on her sodomite fans.

"Dollywood attracts lots of church groups, but it has also become a draw for the LGBT community. What does that say about you?

It's a place for entertainment, a place for all families, period. It's for all that. But as far as the Christians, if people want to pass judgment, they're already sinning. The sin of judging is just as bad as any other sin they might say somebody else is committing. I try to love everybody"

Ms. Clown-face shows her ignorance of scriptures.

We are to "judge" sin, but always with the goal of presenting the solution for sin and its consequences—the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

I love her music, can’t understand her acceptance of queers. I will always love her wonderful voice. As for Christians passing judgment, Christians don’t, they just let G_d’s word do that for them.

Her comments make no logical sense. It is impossible for all judging to be bad because judging judging is judging.

The capacity for reason and judgment and sound discernment is what makes for greatness in people. To throw it all away is not love. It is not smart. She might as well go lock herself in a room and take drugs. Why bother thinking at all.

Out here in the real world there are differences between right and wrong, truth and error, fact and fiction, etc.

There is no sin of judging.

There is a sin of judging hypocritically.

Like if you slam gay people and you’re a closet homosexual, for just one example. Or slamming someone on their weight and you’re obese.

Whatever. Who was a great artist was Porter Waggoner and she was on the show with him. Porter Waggoner was real classic country music, I’d have mixed feelings about saying that about a lot of country music artists. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8jJq4rBsZc

She falsely accuses Christians of judging people, when she knows full well that Christians recognize sin, and leave judging people up to God. Yet she doesn’t say a word about muslims, who torture and kill people for homosexual acts.

It pretty much happens with any woman performer, after a certain amount of time, the only fans left are gay men. See Babs, Cher, Madonna, Cindi Lauper, Lady Gaga, etc.....

There is a difference between judgement and recognizing.

I have no power to make a holy judgement, doesn’t stop me from disciplining.

"But as far as the Christians" ... Odd that she referred to we Christians as "the" Christians. No, Dolly, "we" don't judge. Our Creator judges. And he has made the foundations for our judgement abundantly clear. We ignore that at our peril. And should we help others ignore it as well, the measure held against us increases. I'm still a big fan. "I Will Always Love You".

Libs in country music: Dolly and Willie Nelson are the oldies... Garth, Brad Paisley, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw too.

Reba is also a bit leftist...and sadly even Carrie Underwood seems to have forgotten her Christian roots.

Breaks my heart.

“...The sin of judging is just as bad as any other sin they might say somebody else is committing. I try to love everybody”.

It has been said hate the sin, not the sinner. But, G_D’s word is what it is. If HE says queers and other reprobates will not enter the kingdom of heaven, that’s good enough for me.

If queers want to question G_D’s word, then that is their prerogative. As a sinner, I will not cast stones, but I will not condone the sin either. It appears to me that if Ms. Parton believed G_D’s word, she would not willingly condone the sin. If you have condoned the sin, have you not sinned?

Finally, I think we are to make judgements and guide our lives based on HIS word even though many say judge not least we be judged. But then again, Jesus said “you will know them by their fruits”. To me that indicates we must judge them (agree/disagree) relative to G_D’s word.

I hope she has not let the love of money or her popularity override her better judgement. But I am not surprised as many have given their souls to the devil for less. Obviously, I do not agree with her sodomite views on this matter. She is much too talented to need their support.

These are only my opinions. Your mileage may vary...

I won’t always be loving Dolly’s music, I do like that one “Love is like a butterfly”, “coat of many colors” is another good one.

I haven’t heard a lot of Dolly’s music, I know she did sing “Ballad of the Green Berets”.

Check this out:

“Dolly Parton’s sister Stella Parton to perform at Warrior Day Nov. 1”

“She has been named the Christian Country Music Association’s Female Vocalist and Mainstream Country Artist of the Year, the Alabama Country Music Hall of Fame’s Entertainer of the Year, Most Promising International Act by the CMA/GB, and Honorary Ambassador of Country Music in Kentucky, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and New Zealand. Paton has also been inducted into the American Country Music Hall of Fame. In addition to her performance, Warrior Mayor Johnny Ragland will present Parton with a key to the city.”

I for one, did not know about “Stella Parton”.

If this is Dolly’s sister, they must be separated age-wise, respectfully, by a couple of decades.

Another ignorant twit that feels acceptance of deviants isn't a judgement.

Judgement is a two-edged sword, you can either accept or reject something, and whichever you chose is how you will be judged.

Christ said, Go and sin no more." He did not say "Go and be a good whore."

Is Dolly having this opinion really so shocking or newsworthy? Remember the saying "Consider the source."
