Her comments make no logical sense. It is impossible for all judging to be bad because judging judging is judging.
The capacity for reason and judgment and sound discernment is what makes for greatness in people. To throw it all away is not love. It is not smart. She might as well go lock herself in a room and take drugs. Why bother thinking at all.

I agree. The essence of modern law (and modern society) is judging. What is judging but having a set of standards that people have to live up to. If nobody can be judged, nobody can be punished. If nobody can be punished, we have nihilism or anarchy.
What Dolly Parton means is don't say anything about other people...except for people like her who get to judge everybody else. If somebody is doing something wrong, they should definitely be judged.
We can’t condemn someone to hell. That is for God to do, not us. But He did give us a moral standard, the Bible, whereby we can condemn immoral behavior. Jesus spoke of righteous judgment we can make in John 7:24. To deny the right,the duty, to make moral judgments is to deny that right and wrong exist. We are to leave final judgment to God.
My usual reply to people who accuse me of being judgmental is, why is it okay for you to be judgmental about me.
