Meet Corey Sims. He's in the process of becoming a viral-video star thanks to a very, very large overbid on a hammock on "The Price Is Right."
After his fellow Contestant Row players put in bits of between $750 and $1,200 on a hammock, a visibly nervous Corey trumps them all by offering up $7,000. Seven. Thousand. Even the woman next to him is all, dude, really?

Give him a break, he never had to purchase a hammock for himself. Does the Gov't buy hammocks for people?

Maybe hyperinflation has already kicked in, and he is the only one that realizes it.
I fully expect that by 2016 a loaf of bread will cost at least $7,000
To: SMGFan
He thought the girl came with it.

I didn’t know that Drew Carrey was host of that show, I’m glad he’s working full time, and getting rich.

All they have to do is bid closest to the actual price without going over and they win.
This dumbass had the last bid and the highest at that point was $1,200 (??) All he had to offer was $1,201........and he bid $7,000?????????
Nobody but nobody is THAT stupid! The guy had to be a plant..............

That’s what I was thinking. Or closer to $100. But the hammock is from Cyprus, apparently.
