New York Post’s gossip columnist and Rivers’ self-proclaimed ‘forever friend’ Cindy Adams reported Thursday that Joan has been transferred to a larger suite decorated with flowers, plants and bows by celebrity event planner Preston Bailey, who had organized Melissa Rivers’ wedding years earlier.
Adams, who was spotted leaving the Manhattan medical center after visiting her friend earlier this week, also said that Rivers lies covered with a white faux mink blanket from designer Dennis Basso’s collection and has a CD of the musical Oklahoma! playing in the room, according to Hollywood Life.
Adams dished about Joan Rivers’ upgraded hospital stay, which includes a team of makeup artists, hairdressers and manicurists swarming around her to make sure the legendary fashionista looks her best.
According to the columnist, her nails are painted deep purple and white, and her toenails are green.
Hospital staff even allow Rivers’ dogs, a Japanese Chin named Teegan and a Havanese, to be brought into her room so they could give their ‘mommy’ a kiss.
Sorry, I thought she was as funny as rectal cancer.
Anyone else remember when she got punked back in the 80s (before punked was even a term)?
She’d done some scathing routines on Maggie Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth. So they lured her out somewhere, and in walks a Thatcher impersonator. Who starts dressing Joan down with perfect Brit cutting understatement. Joan was really falling all over herself trying to backpeddle ... but was extremely good natured about it when the prank was revealed.
I hope she died with Jesus in her heart.

....I have an attorney friend who’s daughter absolutely refused over about 30 days to sign a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate). Her father came out of the coma and was back practicing law 60 days later and it’s now about 2 years later. He was 81 also.
I’m not saying the circumstances are the same. I’m just offering a perspective.

I predict Joan will continue to entertain in hologram projection form. Michael Jackson has given many post-hummus concerts as a hologram. The audience eats it up.
I liked her better on The Tonight Show when she was the permanent guest host. Johnny was always on vacation or wanted to quit and then wouldn’t. He was getting annoying and you tell he wasn’t into it much.
She did a better job back then but did “something” to really tick of Carson and he wouldn’t allow her back.
