While that Punch and Judy show was going on with the liberal from Texas and Newt... Romney and his GOP-E crew frigging cheated.

Did you miss that part? Where rules got changed?

Where Florida held their primary early and should have been penalized 50% of their delegates and got to seat them all?

Romney and his crew cheated and gamed the system to win.

First thing they did at the convention was to change the rules to lock them in more firmly for this time around.

Romney is for abortion. Romney appointed homosexual judges. Romney invented socialized medicine in the US. Romney disdained to serve in the military. Romney supports amnesty.

If you are willing to vote for a pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-homosexual, pro-amnesty, pro-socialized medicine liberal republican... Well.. the republicans have your number. They can run anyone, and you will vote for someone that doesn't even match the party platform.

Don't be suckered by their BS. They always have a time constraint, like a condo salesman. Vote for us now, don't think, or the world turns to crap.

Stop and think and delay.

Expect Hillary as your next president, because the GOP-E got close enough with Romney last time that they WILL run a liberal again.

And they will lose.

Jim, thanks for all you do. Sometimes- Just sometimes, you must choose the good and be practical.

Case in point, here in california we had the only debate between crazy train and brown streak. I admit, ideolgy wise donelly was more conservative. But he had no chance against brown. Kaskari is not a conservative, but is worlds better than brown.

Kaskari beat brown in the debate so bad that im shure jerry had his prsonal brown streak after he crapped his pants. In a state a liberal as this one, kashkari has a chance, donnely had none.

Will you support kashkari for 80% or brown with 0% of what we want?

If my vote is so damn important to the GOP then they had better run candidates who aren’t ideologically indistinguishable from their opponents.
Like they did with forcing Romney down our throats.
Romney had many of his positions as Massachusetts governor cribbed by Obama.
It has got to be embarrassing to lose an election to a guy who stole your ideas (Romneycare/Obamacare) and positions on everything.
(Gun bans, homomarriage, higher taxes, etc)

That’s just the way it is, and was.
Many people seem deluded into thinking Romney was some great conservative, or that the republicans would somehow hold his feet to the fire -despite all evidence to the contrary in their current behavior towards Obama.

My motto is throw the bums out. All of them from both parties. After an election, at the most two, we will have our Freedom back.

Couldn’t agree with you more, and said the same thing to Bryan (hubby) this morning while he was eating breakfast.

Brown wins. No way Kaskari wins in CA.

And all you have done is to encourage the GOP to keep moving left, by rewarding them with a vote.

Sometimes, you just have to take a longer view than the next election.

The anti-Federalists had the flaws in the Constitution as well as human nature pegged down. Madison and his response (#57) to those who sought ought more restrictions placed upon the Federal government is just another example that the wisdom of the anti-Federalists trumped the Federalists.

Nixon and his Posse described themselves as “pragmatic”. How did the pragmatic approach to expanding the Federal government’s reach work out?

Thanks for your reply. Ok, so you have abandoned the battle field. And youtell me, who is still on the battlefield that ,e efforts are futile.

My philosophy is, trow the bums out ! how is thatn encouraging anyone? Under my way, one election, two at the most, we will have our country back.

How long will your pacifism take?

I certainly haven’t abandoned the field. I just refuse to reward liberals with a vote.

I spent a lot of time and shoe leather helping to get rid of a liberal republican here. It took over 4 years of effort by many people.

But a conservative is in his place.

Nixon pragmatic conservative? Give me a break!
He was as far removed from fiscal conservative as we can get.

My idea of a pragmatic conservative is Kasich/Jindal/Pence.
Those people have turned economies and jobs around in their states.

The ONLY way another RINO/liberal/compassionate conservative gets nominated in 2016 if there is no unity among conservatives.

Any one conservative candidate against any RINO will defeat the RINO in the primaries.

Again, only reason Romney won nomination is because Santorum and Newt dueled each other to death. Romney had a hard time crossing 30% in the primaries in spite of GOPe money.

But once the primaries were over, we did not have choice between Obama and a conservative. Our ONLY choice remaining was between Obama & Romney. I chose the bad choice over a really bad choice. That is what I call pragmatism. Obama is much worse or equally bad than Romney on every issue. I hope we can agree on that.

You are confusing between “PRIMARIES” and “GENERAL” election.

I would never ever support a liberal/RINO in the primaries. My contributions went only to Cain & Newt in 2012. Never to Romney or any other RINO.

In general, I had only 2 choices. Romney and Obama.
I sure as hell was not going to help Obama get elected.

I can’t agree that one liberal is better than another.

If Romney had won, amnesty would be a done deal, under the cover of a republican.

The fight over socialized medicine wouldn’t be happening, the pubs would have caved, using a republican president for cover.

Gun control would have had a much better chance of going forward under a republican liberal.

And on... The only thing you did with your vote for Romney is affirm to the liberal republicans that you will vote for whatever liberal they can cheat through the nominations.

And you still got Obama after compromising your principles.

There were more than 2 candidates on my ballot.

To say that there were only 2 is a lie.
