A jury on Friday found a man guilty of murder after his pit bulls mauled a woman to death in a high desert town in California where residents said they carried rocks and guns for protection against packs of dogs.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, who appears on Fox’s The Five, prosecuted a similar case in CA several years ago. I believe the woman who owned the dogs is in prison for 2nd degree murder.

Literally in the last few minutes of a PetSmart adoption event, a man came back to the store and adopted the sweet red Pit girl that I wish I could have brought home myself.
I cried, I was so happy for her.
She was headed back to the kill shelter but got a last minute release.

PB owners tend to come from the lower echelons of society. Probably because life's losers hope that having a Danger Dog will somehow make up for a lot of other shortcomings. There are dogs in my neighborhood, but I can't remember the last time I saw PB. Why? Because a tiny house here costs a million dollars. Kind of excludes the PB crowd.
