But at least those officers were able to safely go home to their families, and that’s all that matters. As for the taxpayers, pay up, or these very same cops will show up at your doorstep to collect their pay (taxes), and throw you out of your home if you don’t pay up, assuming they don’t just shoot you first, because they were afraid of a citizen, who threatened their financial well being.
