Most of us probably don't watch as many cartoons as when were kids, but there's a few that we still love.
What is your favorite cartoon(s) of all time?
The Ant and the Aardvark, hands down.
We put it on for the kids-——but we fell in love with it. The kids were too young to get the nuances.
I had a similar experience. I watched Bullwinkle as a young kid and liked it, but I saw some episodes again in high school and realized that was a pretty sophisticated cartoon. It was zooming over my head as a kid.
My favorite cartoon comic book was when Huey, Duey and Louie find the lost continent of Atlantis. Cant think of the tittle unless it was the same thing.
Road Runner and Wiley Coyote!
Mighty Mouse and Roger Ramjet were favs of mine. Yes, I’m old.

What does Boris Badenov mean?
Best. Cartoons. Ever!
Although I grew up with those mentioned above (Bullwinkle, Bugs, et al), I have to give the nod to Avatar, the Last Airbender. What’s not to like? Action, mysticism, comedy and a defined story with a beginning and an end.
Felix the Cat was great and Heckle and Jekyll too
But moose and squirrel my favs

The old ones were some of the best animated cartoons ever, IMO. I have many other favorites, but these were high quality and very amusing!

Description
A program for radio KUKU set in the woods, mostly starring birds as caricatures of celebrities of the day. The MC is bandleader Ben Birdie, heckled by Walter Finchell. Wendell Howell prepares to lead a singalong; he gives several different page numbers in the songbook, then says, “Never mind, we won’t use the books.” The audience, responding “Oh yes we will” pelts him. Billy Goat and Ernie Bear introduce and sing the title song. Everyone sings along, except a fox, who informed he’s singing the wrong song, responds, “Why don’t somebody tell me these things?” We pan across a series of celebrity guests, like W.C. Field-mouse, Dick Fowl, Deanna Terrapin, Bing Crowsby, and the high-note competing duo of Grace Moose and Lily Swans. Tizzie Fish has a cooking segment. Finally, Louella Possums introduces a company performing a scene from The Prodigal’s Return.

Boris Godunov, in full Boris Fyodorovich Godunov, Russian statesman who was chief adviser to Tsar Fyodor I and was himself elected tsar of Muscovy (reigning 1598–1605) after the extinction of the Rurik dynasty.

Badenov’s name is a play on that of the 16th-century Russian Tsar Boris Godunov (”bad enough” vs. “good enough”).
One of my faves, too ;-)
