The Oaklahoma teacher who showed up drunk and sans pants has a future career as an LA teacher setting a good example for her students.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
It's now open season on the other students and teachers.
It's way past time to GET YOUR KIDS OUT!!!
Yes, be more lenient, coddle the little thugs even more! That’s the ticket.

When does a simple “fight” become felony assault?
You are aware are you not, that many of the “fights” in school are actually felony assaults?
Were you aware that many of these “fights” are actually rival gangs engaging each other?
That many are mexican vs. black?
Didn’t think so...
Honestly. I don’t think anyone but parents should be able to spank a kid.
I also do not think schools are above the laws either, if a kid is bringing alcohol and drugs to school the cops or CPS should be notified.
I am a proponent of spanking, myself, but never wanted anyone else to have that ability.
The children were MINE and I knew how I wanted them raised and unless I knew the other adult really well and knew they would administer it in line with how I would, I simply did not want them to have that ability.
Parents or very close relatives.
