Norwegians probably still have a strong social contract with each other to watch each others kids. The sort of social contract the US used to have.

Number 9 is us. There was no way I was gonna raise no Ritz crackers and chicken nuggets kids! I can’t believe the crap most parents let their kids live off of just because they couldn’t be bothered to invest a little time up front.
