Several postings on this. Some pix showed striations running down its sides accompanied by speculation what caused them. My imput. The cause was water running down its sides. Be interesting to learn how deep this thing is and age. The stirations didn’t appear to be that deep so whatever caused this relatively speaking wasn’t that long ago geologically speaking.
