A 63-year-old Romeoville man who authorities say was a police officer and church camp leader was charged today with the distribution of child pornography.
Miguel Luna, of the 500 block of North Frieh Drive, was charged with one count of dissemination of child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography, according to the Will County States Attorneys office.
Bail was set at $500,000 this afternoon for Luna, who was ordered not to have unsupervised contact with anyone under 18. He also was ordered to surrender his passport.

Nothing about chats or discussions trading this stuff, and nothing about the state of his marriage. We have had computer viruses hosting and disseminating child port since the computer bulletin board days of the late eighties and we have seen spouses plant false evidence to win custody or gain leverage in a divorce over and over again.
I want every pedophile to get their own millstone and go visit Davy Jones, but I am not up for lynch mobs and skipping the weighing of the evidence.
Yep. The child porn boogyman makes for great headlines. The acquittals do not.
I recall a few years back headlines were made when dozens of DoD employees were arrested for child porn. Only one person was convicted. Why? Turned out, there was a lot of porn found on people's computers but very little of it were of actual children. Yet careers, reputations, friendships and lives were destroyed in the process.
I'm with you on stringing up the scumbags who trade in photos of children but a lot of these guys are guilty of nothing more than looking at pics of flat-chested 22-year olds.
