Lets talk about the coolest substance ever: graphene. Its one atom thick, (about one-millionth the thickness of a single strand of hair), its 100 times stronger than steel, and it conducts electricity like nothing else. Its a supermaterial that is quietly changing the course of technology.
Heres why you should get excited about it:
It will turn computers into transformers
It is now being suggested that graphene can be changed into different configurations on the fly by simply manipulating it with lasers.
That means that it could take on the form of different computers in just seconds, freeing us from hard-printed, static motherboards. Right now, you carry multiple computers configured for different purposes, partially because their motherboards, printed on hard silicon, cant do anything other than that for which they were designed.
Your smartphone handles a selection of communication and entertainment functions. Your camera is filled with camera-friendly chips. Your game console is heavy on graphics and presentation hardware. Your computer is memory-heavy, able to crunch file structures and complex mathematics.

""JUMPS UP AND DOWN""
Isn’t that what preppers slather on their guns before burying them in the woods ?
That might have been “cosmoline” in the old days. I remember that term only from the old Twilight Zone episode about the guys who put themselves to sleep in a cave for 100 years. I was surprised to see that it was a real thing, not a term and concept they made up just for that episode.
There's real potential in graphene unlike many of the other wiz-bang technologies that were going to be "the next big thing".

I’ll take 500 yards and a box of 3/0 fishing hooks, please.

Good one. I’m at the creek now with my so . I just hooked a little 11 Japanese catfish. No I’m waiting for him to do the same. Night fishing is so awesome.
Graphene Keyword Reunion! ;’)
“Isnt that what preppers slather on their guns before burying them in the woods ?”
You’re thinking about graphite.
The article, though true, is in the form of hype. What I want to know is: what company is beginning to make graphene products, and what does their stock cost?
This company CVV Equipment is one of the closest to actually making graphene products though they are more of an equipment and engineering company.
Thing is, once they start making products, you’re no longer on the ground floor.
Might not be on the roof yet, but still.
Lies.
“Silicon, graphene.... It’s a veritable stone age.”
“Everybody must get stoned . . .” - who knew they were seers instead of musicians?
