Who wants to be locked into a job?

Who wants to spend 33% of their working time working as a tax slave for the takers?

I believe it, some of them work here!

I tell my daughter who is looking for a better job, that she doesn’t need to worry so much about if her skills are sufficient, with a history of just showing up every day is a bigger plus anymore. You can train someone who is there every day.

Well, we can all thank Obamacare. We don't have to suffer from 'Job Lock' anymore.

Resentment is growing among the makers in this country. Why work like an animal to support lazy worthless welfare types, who enjoy a better life than we do?

I’ve experienced this first hand, the younger they are the less attuned to being on time or even showing up they are, especially mid-twenties age group. It’s not just laziness or irresponsibility per se, these are college graduates in some instances. Oh, I had to go get a haircut this morning, sorry. Or, oh, I just wanted to go to the beach for a few days, sorry. Then they turn up afterwards still expecting to have a job, genuinely surprised that there’s some sort of problem over disappearing for days with no word from them whatsoever.

I just quit a retail job after 3 weeks. Why? No training - absolutely none - and the boss they assigned me to had not taken a bath in - oh, maybe a month? Plus, a busted computer. But the worst was having no idea what I was doing while feral customers were showing slavering teeth and gums!

I’m generally a very hard worker, extremely punctual, but I was not going to put up with nonsense.

Note to employers: you get as good as you give.

" lazy worthless welfare types, who enjoy a better life than we do?"

Mostly like our elected officials and especially the gov't bureaucrats, like (slow) Learner.

Businesses will, however, continue targeting their older employees for forced retirement or layoff.

W was the only Preezy in the last 20+ years who wasn’t perpetually late.

If Preezies don’t have to be on time — why should anyone else?

employers are having trouble finding people with advanced computer and interpersonal skills, punctuality, and reliability - who are willing to work for minimum wage.

Many of my students fall into this category, with the exception of the Asians....they are on time, sit in the front row and are prepared to answer classroom questions.

Just some more propaganda to bring in more foreign guest workers who can do jobs Americans can’t do.

On average, how late is Obama for his meetings?

My company had an job posting for a PHP programmer for an annual salary of $100,000 a year. We had this job posted everywhere for a year and got no serious applicants.

We finally had to bring in a guy from India to do the job.

I have noticed to same thing.

I have two TOP priorities when it comes to hiring someone:

1. will they actually show up.
2. can I trust them to not steal from me.

those 2 criteria alone eliminate 90% of everyone I consider.

After I have hired them I have 1 more eliminator... will they actually work

That one eliminates nearly everyone else.

forget wanting someone competent, or who even speaks English! It’s nearly impossible to meet the above most basic criteria.
