Egyptian military deploying to Cairo, Aswan dam, High dam, water stations, power stations, gov. buildings, Tahrir Square, etc. in anticipation of MB violence on Friday after prayers (what else is new?)

Here’s the childish plot for Friday’s Salafis/MB demonstrations:

The demonstrations are to hoist copies of Qura’an. If they are chased by security forces, Qura’ans will fall on the ground (OMG!) and the security forces will be photographed by special MB photographers assigned to the “stepping on Qura’ans (gasp!)

The MB will have a year gworth of propaganda, complaining to the Moslem world about the infidel Egyptian government that manhandles the Quran!

This is the main thrust of tomorrow’s demonstrations.

Meanwhile, bombs are found and defused in different parts of Egypt..

Know of the problem of what you are speaking but only in terms of witnessing similar yet whomever/whatever is going on has been unsuccessful in my area thus far. Am not certain is an ongoing attack but do have suspicions that it could be an ongoing attack. Have been seeing little bits and pieces around the internet regarding setup adds or adds infected with malware. Have been avoiding those adds as have encountered them as much as possible and have reported some of the adds to site posting the add or to help the site am reporting the add and advising site am reporting add to; to check and remove some of the infectious adds as am finding. Am not an expert on the workings of the interwebs, Lucy, but yes something is going on and I'm at a loss to explain exactly what it is that is going on. If you find some information would appreciate a 'ping'. Thanks Lucy.

Another thought, "they" are reading our posts and don't approve of our comments, so "they" throw a monkey wrench into the mix occasionally, or "accidentally" cross a few wires... Or ... maybe I need a tinfoil hat.

neither am I computer savvy ... sometimes before I turn around there seems to be something and then other times complete quiet. Had rather be under attack for know there are trails when attacks come, though most of the IPs these days being identified as the attacker is/are spoofed. That is the extent of my knowledge. One more thing ... I no longer ‘X’ out any popups though most popups never make it to me except on most other sites. Most of my problem is a dialog box or similar telling me I’m disconnected from the internet but the dialog box is a lie. My major concern is the ‘X’ method if not now .. soon will be an invite in by ‘X’ing out.

I’ve never heard of a problem with Xing out popups. Do you mind if I ask what browser you are using?

Maybe wasn’t clear ... my browser is 11+ Microsoft. Not the best for avoiding malware and viruses. The ‘X’ out may not be infected yet but (imho) is coming. I have no problem ‘X’ing out, if I do, but have started going around ‘X’ing out. Attempting to make a habit of doing such and avoiding ‘X’ing out. Too many setups and coding of the ‘X’ out with malware and viruses would not be that difficult (imho).

Have you considered switching to Firefox? Plenty of security addons available.

FYI.... Also looks like ISIS is moving in fast on the Sinai P. and Northern Africa..... Any word on what SISI has stated about these? I have to catch up as just getting back from Holiday w/family.

He could try. I don't think there is a whole lot of sympathy for people who burn down their own neighborhoods. If they want to go back to the devastation of say, 1968, then so be it. Detroit has shown the way; society can just bulldoze the ruins and open up farmland.
