Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty is the 28th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, February 26, 2014 on CBS at 8/7c with a special two-hour episode.
As with the last season, this season takes place in Cagayan, Philippines. This is the fourth consecutive season that Survivor has taken place in the Philippines
It has been reported from several sources that there will be no Redemption Island. I hope this is true. I guess we'll find out.
Celebrity cast members include Miami Marlins president David Samson, former NBA all-star Cliff Robinson, former San Francisco 49ers cheerleader Morgan McLeod, professional poker player Garrett Adelstein, and MMA fighter Sarah Lacina (she's also a cop).
Aparri Tribe (brawn - orange buffs): Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish, Woo
Luzon Tribe (brains - green buffs): David, Garrett, J’Tia, Kass, Tasha, Spencer

BTW I was listening to Probst somewhere and he was asked about the super duper idol and when it will be put into play.
His answer was that he could not comment on that only to say that it is always wise for players to be looking for idols at all times.
I got the feeling that it is in play already and always has been but they just haven’t given any clues to where is might be.
They will have to find it on their own with no clue.

He’s always in trouble — how often has his name been written down and yet he’s still there???
But it’s a moment of truth time for Trish.
Is she going to stick with Tony and Woo or go with Jeffra and Kass??? If not one or both just might go Orange.
Kass has already taken out one cop in this game — let’s see if she is going to maneuver to take out another?
It is VERY irritating... I can’t watch the cbs vids (because I am in Japan... something about being out of area?! o.O)
Sometimes there are youtube vids that I can watch, but hard to find :p
LJ and Woo are ok (I like Woo, although, he is about as smart as a rock :/).. Tony is a PITA though...
Spencer reminds me of a cross between a stork and a ostridge, plus his attitude of “I am smarter than others, so my attitude towards anyone doesn’t matter”.. he is a pr*ck :p
The only other that I like (thanks to the editing of the show) is Tasha... I actually like her, although she can be conniving at times.
Kass is a snobby Liberal lawyer that THINKS she knows everything and is on top of the world (and running things), and Trish.. hmm not sure what to think about her.. Bostonian that thinks she knows everything..can’t really think of anything negative to say about her, besides being annoying ;^)
You have to admit (as long as he didn’t get hurt) the fall looked pretty funny :D
(I hope he is ok).

Yipee! Tony found the super duper II! Notice how the show has been centered around him. Don’t know if that means he’s going far or he’s the only interesting character this season. He has a spy post behind the shelter and now one at the water hole and who knows how many others. Raise your hand if you think Internal Affairs will be looking at him a lot more closely.

So there are no repercussions for Tony from last weeks vote and he becomes more powerful than ever with the TPI in his hands — as if he would need it at this point. He is now Super Tony — able to leap over repercussions with a single bound.
He’ll make it to F4 at this point without having to use it,
but production was taking no chances of losing him in a rock draw. That idol was buried in hard mud — who would have ever thought to dig there without a little help???
Woo’s fall was much ado about nothing.
And Jeffra is as useless as a bump on a log. She had her chance and blew it. 2 weeks and she will be gone and few people will ever remember that she had even been there.
It looks like Trish wants to be sitting next to Tony and Kass at the F3. It’s hard to believe that anything at this point can change that.

We were yelling at the tv that the camera crew told him where to DIG. DIG?!? Really? Can't have anyone else tripping over it so Mark buried it and presented Tony with a gold plated backhole. Yes, the F3 or 4 have been determined.
The only saving grace is that I doubt that he will have a chance to use it. It has to be used sometime in the next 3 TCs before the F4 and they still have to pagong Spencer, Tasha and Jeffra. Tony won’t be in any jeopardy in the next 3 weeks.
The question is just how seriously Trish takes Spencer’s threat last night that he, Tasha, Jeremiah would all be casting their jury votes for Tony at FC.
That’s a big incentive to get rid of Tony and take Kass.
Rumors are circulating that it will be a F2 Final Council this year. The choice just might be between Trish and Kass — which will be no choice at all.
I wonder if this will eventually lead to another Twenty One type situation where someone spills the beans.
He didn’t think about digging in hard mud anywhere until he gets to that spot and then right where he digs is where the idol is — please.
And the fact that he “finds” it right after Jeffra agreed to flip making it 4-4 when he now would need it the most to avoid rocks is also highly suspicious.
The good thing is that I don’t think it will affect the game but no one that I know has had anything good to say about the Tyler Perry Idol. It’s high time to retire that stupid idea.

Still having a hard time making sense out of this from Tribal:
Spencer calls out Tony for breaking promises, to which Tony replies:
“I didn’t break promises. I did it for a reason.”
What???? So if you have a reason for doing something then you can claim you didn’t do it??? Really!!!
And then after Spencer says “If You Keep Him, I’m Voting For Him”, and the other two agree, Woo says:
“They might vote for him, but the only way he’s going to get there is with the help of us.”
What???? Does Woo not understand what the game is all about???
Will Tony be forced to play the Super HII this week?

Tony will have to be forced NOT to play it.
Right now it’s burning a hole in his bag of tricks and he is just dying to whip it out.
I think he wants people to vote for him now and hopes they do and might even dare the others to do so just so he can whip it out and play it.
