I think the person happiest about this is Shanahan, who wants to work for Dan Snyder?

I think his $7 mil a year deal is good for 14 and 15.
A decent living, even after the crushing taxes in that locale.

It’s a shame that London Fletcher had to go out like this. Hopefully, Shanahan will be given his walking papers before sundown.

Accdg. to ESPN, the owner and RG3 are close buddies so Shanny was the odd man out.

He wanted to quit last year. I don’t think they have to fire him.

He wanted to quit last year. I dont think they have to fire him. Isn't there a $14m difference between the two outcomes?

No matter who the coach is the Redskin will never win until they get rid of the current owner.

Actually Shanahan could be a good fit for Detroit. It’s not like Detroit is exactly a coaching magnet in the first place.
He could do some good things with Stafford.

Would be an awesome “double dipping” opportunity.
If he got Schwartz money he’d be making $13 mil a year....

They didn’t even wait until NFL Black Monday.
To: GeronL
Did he tell you that, or you just believe everything the media tells you?
To: Perdogg
I’m not a huge Shanahan fan, but I think they’d be making a mistake to fire him.

Mike Shanahan stood in a steady rain on a gloomy afternoon in a largely empty, lifeless stadium
