During an oddly jokey statement at the White House as the fiscal deadline bore down Monday afternoon, President Obama said, "I'm going to be president for the next four years. I hope." He was warning Republicans that, yes, they'd have to deal with him for a while. But it was, to be sure, a strange moment. Could he actually have been joking about assassination? About impeachment?

An impeachement will never happen. At least I seriously don’t think Obama would ever go through an impeachment, Americans are too stupefied by him.
Muslims use the phrase “God willing” a lot. Maybe Obama’s statement “I hope” was an American take on the Muslim sentiment.
There does seemt o be something not right with Obama. There is so many things that would have derailed the political career of a normal person but he seems to slip past all the issues. He has minions that basically worship the ground he walks on. I have met them. It’s a little spooky in the way they just believe everything he says even though their own eye show otherwise.
I am not sure what is going on. As another post pondered, this might be why we don’t exist in the end time prophecies, we no longer exist as a powerful nation. No one would have ever dreamed, except our founding fathers, that a guy like Obama could come around. Unfortunately, the people did not take heed.

EVERYTHING 0bama does, says and writes is part of the government document control system.
This also applies to all of us. 0bama is not exempt. If it’s a word, it’s stored.

That came to me as well, but I did not mention it. Obama’s “I” replaces “God” in the Muslim saying.
For Muslims, “God willing” it is an escape clause in agreements with others. Obama is his own escape clause.
I've considered that. The simplest explanation I can think of America's absence is that Iran will hit the US with an massive EMP strike and effectively take us off the world stage.
