Fox quoting Obama as saying it will take ten years to recover from "Bush's recession" and thus he cannot be expected to end it while he's in office.
So he can’t do anything about gas prices and now he can’t do anything about the economy. What the hell CAN that bass turd do? It seems all he can do is go on vacation, play golf and sing and tell jokes at fundraisers.
Recovery begins on November 7th, to accelerate exponentially on January 21st.
With the way he’s been skyrocketing healthcare and energy costs, and pissing away billions of our money in payola on green energy boondoggles...it’s going to take a lot longer than that.
On the bright side, the unemployment rate will soon be zero. Unfortunately the labor force participation rate will be the same.
I’m feeling all hopey changey.
Romney will end this fiasco which has been perpetuated and amde horribly worse under Obama, and he will do it in 2-3 years. Just like Reagan ended the “misery index,” inflicted on this country by Jimmy Carter in his progressive/liberal term.
Those of us who remember that turnaround know better than this blather Obama is spuing and will undoubtedly be reguritated by the media.
Fact is, under Obama or any of hil ilk...IT WILL NEVER END!

Is this “unexpectedly” or did he know he was lying when he claimed during the last election he could make the needed changes in his first term?
Wow, sure inspires you to give the guy another 4 years.
Bush has alway had a problem of not defending himself.
If he lets this go unchallanged, he deserves the rep he gets.
Man up, Jorge.
I wasn’t joking.
Negative, anti capitalist policies (such as we have now) can have an immediate chilling effect on markets and consumer spending,
Once bitten (as we were under Carter) it takes quite a while to re-prime the pump.
Every time I advance that notion I get a chorus of voices chanting about dot coms and the IT boom. My contention is that the venture capital for those companies would not have been there, but for Reaganomics.
Thank you for the book recommendation. I’ll put it at the top of my reading list!
Updating one of my favorite quotes from Ronald Reagan - who Barry seems to think he is, when he's NOT running for reelection:
"A 'recession' is when your neighbor loses his job.
"A 'depression' is when you lose yours.
"And 'recovery' is when Barack Hussein Obama loses HIS."
As far as I can remember, President Bush never blamed anyone else. He never pointed fingers. He acted like an adult and felt that he was responsible for his actions. That will never happen with President Obama. It’s always someone else’s fault.
Liberals still worship FDR.
Go figure. I've given up trying to. Mental illness is hard to relate to.
Ah, this from the man who said he’d be a one-term president if he couldn’t fix the economy. Start packing, ZERO!
True. And especially LAUGHABLE in the context of this (Remember RECOVERY SUMMER?) .... June 17, 2010
Administration Kicks Off "Recovery Summer" with Groundbreakings and Events Across the Country
I dont remember things being all that bad under Bush.
...Until Nanzi Pelosi and the Democraps took over Congress
And to think that the Soviets couldn’t put together anything greater than a five-year plan.
FReeper C. Edmund Wright wrote an article at American Thinker [How 0bama Might Just Break Even On Jobs] which made that exact same point.
That's nothing. I'm still recovering from the hangover I got at Hussong's in Ensenada in 1983.
That is the real truth though. Liberals made fun of Reagans Ideas at the time, but when Clinton rode Reagans economy for 8 years before he crashed the market the liberals to this day say Clinton is the best president of the last 1000 years. I say Nay Nay. Clinton was in the right place at the right time. Had Bush Sr been elected the economy would have done the exact same thing. But the market would have never crashed. Well maybe with Bush Sr getting punked around by the racist liberals.
