GO SANTORUM GO!
Bring back the Reagan Democrats and net those Rust-Belt states in the Republican column. The ONLY candidate who never favored at any time an individual mandate.

Absolutely he should withdraw. He’s not even close anywhere. he can’t win anything except GA. And all he is doing is handing the nomination to Romney.
Gingrich’s legacy is singular ... getting Romney nominated. Gingrich was flat out slaughtered tonight.
Santorum.

Why doesn’t Romney withdraw?
And then Sarah Palin, do you hear me , run and save us now!

I’m getting mighty sick of this. NO!
santorum rose BECAUSE of romney attacks on Newt and that is the ONLY reason he rose. He piled on and kicked Newt when he was down.

I think Gingrich ought to withdraw. I said last year that he and Santorum should should stick through Super Tuesday, and whomever’s losing should drop out.
At this point, I don’t see any way Newt can win. He’s helping Romney by taking votes away from Rick. The conservative vote cannot win if its split.

I agree. Newt is toast. He may be better served to try running for elected office in Georgia. This country needs all the leadership it can get right now.

I guess you said the same thing about going to the moon in 1969 - why do it? Not possible. If a person doesn't have goals or dreams, what is he? Someone who relies on the government to tell them what to do.
For $2.50 gas, why not? It was lower then that when Obama became president. It's all supply and demand, something that most understand.
Newt needs to stay in and he will inspire all of us. Go Newt !!

Why should Newt drop out? He seems to be disappearing as a factor in this race anymore. 10 states tonight and all he got was his home state which we all saw coming from a mile away.

Much as I think Newt is the smartest of the lot and the most able to articulate consrvatives principles, he seems to be having more trouble than the others are having in convincing people to vote for him in large numbers.
So, I dunno what to say other than SIGH.

{Should Gingrich Withdraw?] No, hell no!
Romney ought to be compelled to withdraw if he can't beat Santorum in Ohio. If he can't carry Ohio now, how can he hope to claim to be able to carry it in November, when we will need it?

I think some of the Santorum folks are overestimating his popularity among Newt supporters. I already voted for Gingrich in Ohio today, but if Gingrich had withdrawn, I would not have voted for Santorum. If he ends up being the nominee, he'd get my vote. Otherwise, he's my last choice.

Newt is my first choice, Rick my second, Paul my third and Mitt my forth. At his point Newt should back away and let Rick take out Mitt. The women will not vote for Newt, our loss but that is the sad fact.
