Dear Friend,
We felt that advertising on the Glenn Beck Program could be mis-interpreted as an endorsement of Mr. Beck's political views. Since Omaha Steaks has no affiliation with Mr. Beck, nor do we ever endorse any political affiliations, views or beliefs, we felt it was in our best interest to discontinue these ads.
Sincerely,
Julie Davis Omaha Steaks Customer Care Representative

Here is the bed bug letter I received in answer to my comment about Omaha Steaks withdrawing its commercial support from the Glenn Beck Program. I intend to return all their ads in the return address envelopes and make them pay the postage for them too.

I guess they should not be advertising on TV, radio, newspapers and magazines then. They all have views and stuff expressed.

I can remember when Omaha Steaks was THE outfit for buying good steaks. I had a friend send me a selection of steaks from them and I can’t even begin to tell you how disappointed I was. To their credit, when I complained about the quality, they resent the order at no charge, even though I did not ask them to do so. However, the second order was no better.

When they first decided to advertise on the Glen Beck program, were they under the impression that it was a cooking show? Did nobody at Omaha Steaks research Beck's show before they decided to spend big bucks advertising there?
This whole thing smells to high heaven...........

My post office says all I have to do with unwanted mail is mark it “REFUSED” and stick it back in the mailbox.
Think I’ll get a rubber stamp.

Buying steaks through the mail is ridiculous, imo.
I can see FedExing exotic saltwater seafood to Nebraska, but there’s few places in the USA that cattle aren’t happy to give their lives for local consumption...

I have experienced the same. My brother gave me a gift certificate to Omaha Steaks a few years ago. I ordered fillets. The meat was very tender, but lacked the superb flavor I get from the 4H raised cow my neighbor and I split every year. Pricey, too.
The other thing about OS is they share your info with EVERYBODY. They are also relentless with their telemarketing. KC Steaks is the same way.

Thanks for the info. I just sent them an email and asked to be removed from their mailing list.

Dear Omaha Steaks Flunky
Seems your pulling your advertising from Glen Beck’s program is a political endorsement of those who want him silenced.

Omahole Steaks is Dixie-Chicking themselves.
There are places to get better, less costly steak. And many don’t involve shipping. Try shopping local.

Yes. You can do better other places. They cut off all the fat so there is very little flavor. You can buy prime on line all day. Even Cosco carries prime beef. Good luck.

The left, especially Van Jones’s Obama-For-America related orgs, Morons.Borg, and Daily Kos, have had a continuing campaign against Beck’s advertisers.
He presents inconvenient facts about the Democrats, AND THAT MUST NOT BE ALLOWED.
Dissent is ONLY patriotic if it’s against a Republican.

Someone should find a list of shows they advertise on and ask if they endorse those views too.

Yes that is true, but depending on what amount of postage or what type of fwding endorsement is attached to the envelope, returning it to your mailman will more than likely result in it hitting file 13.

There needs to be a picture of the liberal dumbasses at Omaha Steaks shooting themselves in the foot. Do they think the welfare Democrat public are the ones ordering their pricey steaks and gifts? If they do, they are greatly mistaken.
