We did not make it today. Folks were up way too late last night. As it is the kids are taking a nap while LoM cooks. I just lit the Weber, so the turkey will go on soon.

DP has begun doing something with meat. I’m contemplating having a glass of wine, but first I’ll try again to upload my pictures. I told Photobucket to upload, but it just sat there.

This is a test of the new baskets. LoM and I discussed this last evening, and although what's on Weber's site now is relatively inexpensive we did see something extremely expensive some year back. I have somewhat crudely replicated their design.

I also have the task of keeping the music going. Have "A Charlie Brown Christmas" on now, breaking up some of the more serious stuff.

I forgot to take my camera last night. But I couldn't have taken a picture of the cutest scene. During one of the carols one of our girls, a small girl (Indian parents) about 9, led her new (adopted) 2-year-old sister from India, both dressed the same, up to the creche one side of the Sanctuary so little sister could place baby Jesus in the manger.

DP has Charlie Brown Christmas in his iPod. Do you have the Garrison Keillor disk, “Now it is Christmas Again”?

Anoreth has emerged, but appears not quite conscious yet. She can nurture Ash, which requires no thought.

I have it in my MP3 player's Christmas section too. But I don't have the Garrison Keillor disk.

Don't know about Anoreth's Absolutely Amazing Airport Adventure, but being that ill AND taking a red-eye would be horrible.

She’ll post it for us all, with colorful polysyllabic adjectives, when she’s feeling better. A good meal and then back to bed will help her a lot. She was too tired to eat earlier, except a few spoonfuls of yogurt.

My upload froze at #56 of 60. I stopped it, and I’ll run it again on just the last 4 pictures. I need to get it up so I can send the link to Irish_Thatcherite. For some reason, he can never receive pictures, even if I attach only one.

I’m smelling something with lots of garlic from the kitchen. Also a little scorched ... I’d better get the stove vent turned on and open a window before the fire alarm goes off.

The youngest sionnsareen just made some eggnog, along with all the good smells emanating from the kitchen. Music has switched to Welsh harp.

The 2nd avenue bus is 2 bumpy. And don't get started on how the MTA stormtroopers swarm the bus to check your boarding pass. Another bad idea in the city of bloomberg.
