Sudden catastrophic event could explain that. Kind of like the city of Pompay covered it volcanic ash. The remains of people there were very telling of this.
Still, it looks more ape-like to me.

Yeah! If the dinosaur was dead he wouldn't have been real hungry. Then again, if the humanoid was dead he wouldn't have been running real fast to get away from the dead dinosaur, either.
And if the humanoid wasn't dead up to the moment he died, then how could he have evolved into a democrat?

All this shows is that the human (if it is) and the dinosaur (if it is) died in approximately the same place. Carbon-14 test them and I'm sure there will be a big difference in the readings.
