I am "U S Army EOD". My background is being in EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal(basically the army bomb squad)) during the 60's and 70's. The main reason I am joining is to support our troops and counter these "Pro Saddam Demonstrators" that we saw this week end. It is the same group of people that were in the demostrations during the 60's and 70's. The problem with these groups are not the impact they have on people here in the States, but the impact they have on people like Sadam. After seeing these demonstrations, he is thinking to himself, "If I can hold on just a little longer, the Americans will go away just like they did in Southeast Asia". They CAN beat us this way, the North Vietnamese sure as hell did after we kicked their asses all over the battlefield. I would love to hear some comments on this and will write future articles based on some of my experiences in the days of yesteryear that most of the public is just not aware off.
