Domination of the Government by the Non-Scientific Climate Change RELIGION Violates the Establishment Clause

Posted on 01/30/2024 9:37:30 AM PST by CharlesOConnell

I am not a scientist, and do not claim to speak in the name of science. But neither are most of those who make dogmatic, religious pronouncements about their misunderstanding of climate and environmental issues, by any stretch of the imagination "scientists" or qualified to make "scientific" pronouncements.

But Greenpeace founder Dr. Patrick Moore Ph.D. (University of B.C. 1974) is an actual scientist, who points out the extreme foolishness of the dogmatic "environmental" movement in his book "Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom".

Moore notes that, over a geologically significant expanse of time, 100,000's or millions of years, our atmospheric carbon level is currently at a measure approximately 170, and if that measure drops to the 140s, All Life On Earth DIES.

Moore wrote a 2010 book "Trees are the Answer, 10th Anniversary Edition". Now Bill Gates wants trees felled and buried. (A Forester of my acquaintance asserted that California government authorities forbid replanting of harvested forest areas.)

Controllers of the WEF insanely want to kill off most of humanity based on an anti-life religious outlook. Their sole qualification is their ability to engage in manipulation of finance, Wall Street money predation against the interests of real people, or their inheritance of such wealth and power, protected from fair taxes by their rigging of non-profit foundations, with the concomitant insanity that mere riches confer omniscience about every conceivable issue.

While the Ultra Rich have a right to their private religion, their attempt to place that religion over the government is against the establishment clause of the constitution, which states that congress shall make no laws regarding an establishment of religion.

This illegitimate administration and whomever is control of it is actively working against the best interests of the USA in all ways. No stone upturned. The climate cult is a pawn in the depravity working within the US government.

trees...the very best solar energy source! renewable AND life giving, trees provide heat energy for cooking, industrial applications and, of course, staving off the deadly cold of winter. bonfires and moonshine, two tree related perks of “Livin’ The Life” are a direct result of trees. in fact without trees life on this planet would be improbable and much less fun. yes my friends, TREES! what CAN’T they do?

I do agree that “Climate Change” is a fraud. But I think it’s a mistake to attack it on any sort of religious grounds. That’s a dead end, as I see it.

This is instead a free speech issue. At one time, science (and the general public) valued debate, and a constant free exchange of ideas. Those who push Climate Change have shut all that down.

We are now told that it’s “settled science”, and no further discussion is permitted. Try it, and you will be punished. This obviously goes against the basic values of a free society. And so that’s where Climate Change should be attacked.

Just my two cents.

Sometimes in church when we have informal discussions about Bible history, I pull up the graph below, which was constructed a decade or so ago by studying ice cores in Greenland. It corresponds to many climate history graphs I remember that used to be push by climatologist, even at NASA, before Al Gore in the 1990's changed science research money to required results that correspond to his wishes. That's why new graphs tend to pretend that the warming periods over the past few thousand years never existed and our Modern Warm Period is somehow unique (hockey stick graph).

To me it's fascinating that what us Bible geeks often refer to as the Era of Judges almost exactly corresponds to the Minoan Warm Period. Era of Kings = Greek Dark Age cooling period. Jesus and the apostles lived in the Roman Warm Period.

When that topped out around AD 300 and moved into the Dark Age cooling period that lasted centuries, that's when the Huns migrated west-southwest and forced out the Germanic Goth tribes. Those goths took over what was left of the western Roman Empire through sheer numbers and cultural migration (like we have today from our southern border). The Huns kept moving in, forcing the Goths out of Rome and into modern day German, forcing out other Germanic tribes like the Anglos and Saxons. (Yes, the ancestors of most whites in the U.S. had their own Trail of Tears in a prior cooling period.) If the Dark Age cooling period hadn't lowered crop yields and made rain patterns harder to predict, the Huns may have never started the migration domino effect and the Anglos might still today be living in Germany.

That is basically the issue in the Mann v Steyn trial currently ongoing. Mann suing Steyn for telling the truth about him and his fraudulent “research.”

That’s “cool” (no pun intended).

and you would be dead wrong,

leaning right between marx and mao.

its a cult with zero valid science behind it.

and our country and world is being made to bend our knees to it.

I will ignore your personal attack based on my FR name, and instead agree with you that “Climate Change” is a cult with no valid science behind it.

I’m a chemist by training, and as a scientist I am appalled by these Climate Change studies. For example, there is never any discussion of estimates of uncertainty. Without such discussions any scientific study is worthless.

But we will gain no traction with the general public if we attack Climate Change on religious grounds. On cult grounds, yes. On free speech grounds, yes. On scientific grounds, yes.

But not on religious grounds. It’s a bridge too far, and a distraction actually.

Not many are convinced of a real communism/climate/religion doctrine connection.

Not in the sense of it being claimed or defined as such by the adherents. Its impossible to apply the standard without people seeing that connection in a broader more clear way.

Much as its problematic, religion establishment clause is notreally well defined.

Science is never settled. When people say the argument is settled, it enters the realm of BELIEF. It has become a religion. You are either a Believer or a Heretic.

It is very plain to see that Climate and CO 2 catastrophic predictions, are a religion. We really do not know what Science says, because billions are being paid for people to have an opinion in one direction.

They tell us we are in the pocket of Big Oil. THEY are in the pocket of Climate alarmism, and they don’t even know the facts. Or they are purposely ignoring the science.

> Science is never settled. <

Yep. I don’t know who first said it. Anyway:
“If it’s settled, it’s not science. And if it’s science, it’s not settled.”

History gives us many examples of that. Galileo did groundbreaking work on gravity. But he got some things wrong, and was corrected by Newton. But Newton also got some things wrong, and was corrected by Einstein.

And scientists are free today to try to show where Einstein was wrong.

Not so when it comes to Climate Change. No challenge is permitted. It’s a disgrace. My objection to the article is only that a challenge to Climate Change should not be made on religious grounds. Please see my post #13.

I don’t disagree with your point of view, I just live in a world where everything is polarized. You cannot convince someone of their mistakes, until you wake them up to the truth. THEY are being had, and this has bigger ramifications than solar power and minimal heat in the home in the short and long term. The Climate cult is a danger to the now, and the future. They must be treated in the same manner as we on the opposite side are. You isolate them, demonize them, and cut them off socially, from serving in government, teaching, and from participating in work. They need to get right, or find a place to pitch a tent in a park somewhere.

This is going to be harder than talking Muzzies out of hating infidels, or Catholics that the Pope thinks he is Jesus.
