Fearing Trump candidates would win office and for the RINOs in the Senate to act Republican, the RINOs sat on their hands last year and did nothing. It marked the first time RINOs refused to help those who pose a threat. Democrats do it all the time to them but they choose to accept their fate as a runner-up part. In fact, Democrats did it to them in 2022, didn’t they? The RINO motto is It’s Better To Serve In Hell Than Have To Make A Decision.
To accommodate and rationalize their sloth, RINOs complained about the quality of Trump candidates.
Let’s see, there was Dr. Oz, a successful heart surgeon (a reader who is a world class cardiologist vouched for him), a successful businessman and a successful TV talk show host.
New York magazine said, “Dr. Oz came out of a bitter May primary he very narrowly won and immediately fell into a period of inactivity that his opponent, Democratic Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, exploited with a mocking social-media campaign pointing out the Republican’s longtime New Jersey residence. Oz then committed some laughable missteps, most famously a video in which he tried to show his middle-class chops by documenting the rising price of crudités.
“But Oz has now finally gotten traction via two gambits. He’s raised questions about Fetterman’s fitness for office in light of the Democrat’s preprimary stroke (which he dramatized by constantly challenging Fetterman to debates; they have finally agreed on a single October debate). And he’s pounded his opponent as soft on crime, particularly in his role as chairman of the State Board of Pardons. The Republican and his super-PAC allies have also begun to outspend the Democrat on ads.”

No, we have exactly what we deserve. For 50 years middle America paid no attention to the policies and indoctrination that was taking hold in our society. We were living large and not concerned with anything politic as it was some one else problem, not my concern.

Some of us knew. My parents took me out of the public school system in 1975. The only time my children went inside a public school was to take the SATs. Too many “conservatives” took that upper-middle class welfare and let the Marxist indoctrinate the kids so they could have that bass boat, or cruises, or the golf club membership.

What happened is we continued to believe the lie that whatever two consenting adults did in the privacy of their bedroom is not our business.

I equated the old Bob Dole GOP with a perennial losing NFL team... They still got all of the perks of being NFL players and never had to worry about winning.
There was a popular America First candidate Kathy Barnette, but Trump endorsed Oz instead, knocking her out of the primary. No one was thrilled about Oz.
