I donā€™t know what constitutes ā€œkeepingā€ one but I believe itā€™s the same one that shows up on our property nearly every day.

We had one of Carol Brewer’s PixieBobs that we adopted in 1997. His name was Hobbs. An African Gray bird we named Calvin. Hobbs could jump straight up onto a wall 7.5 feet tall. He snarled like a Sabretooth tiger. Great cat.

Dad would sometimes allow my brother and I to learn from our mistakes. When he knew we were about to do something that could have lots of unforeseen circumstances (at least to us), he would give this warning: “It is easier to catch a bobcat, than to let one go.” We knew when he meant no, the message was clear, there was no hint of maybe anywhere in sight.

Same here in NC. There are becoming more abundant. I few years back I had to shoot one that was rabid.

A FB friend had one in Oregon. Itā€™s name was Mitt Romney. Probably because it was a big pussy.

I’m thinking of a pet honey badger. Reminds me of POTUS Trump, and we do have pests up where I live.

I think I have posted the honey badger vid before, so excuse me for sharing it again, for those that have not seen it. Honey badger does remind me of DJT and we need some honey badger energy about now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxLgVpiQGr8

I think their growing numbers are related to the growing numbers of households keeping chickens.
