The Aunt Jemima brand is officially canceled after a 125 year run. Many proud black women served as brand ambassadors for Aunt Jemima, one of the longest continually running logos and trademarks in the history of American advertising.
Adding insult to injury, Aunt Jemima’s rebranding was debuted during Black History Month.

“Aunt” Jemima could be construed as marginalization but why not just change the name to “Jemima’s” rather than removing a black face from mainstream packaging?

Give them say 6 months to look at the sales figures from the “Pearl Milling COmpany” pancake mix.....sales will drop drastically....I predict cut in half by the end of 2021..so Aunt Jemima will be back in some form, or the entire product will be retired.
Betty Crocker (a very well-known and popular brand of General Mills Corporation) has been undergoing racist genetic mutation for many years.
I once had occasion to visit the President of GMills, on business. I had to wait for just a moment in his office’s reception area while he came out to usher me in to see him.
Hanging on the walls were about 20 or 30 pictures of Betty Crocker. All ever so slightly different. I was trying to figure them out when El Presidente came out to greet me. He saw that I was staring at his collection of Betties. He asked how I liked them and I must have expressed my wonderment because he explained....
Each Betty was a little different because GMills changes Betty every year to reflect her products’ marketing demographics. Which means, it turns out, that when (say) one percent more Chinese people buy Betty cake mixes, Betty herself mutates to become one percent more Chinese.
I forget the exact figures but El Presidente knew them, at that time Betty was (say) 79.3 percent Caucasian, 7.6 percent black, 9.2 percent Chinese, 2 percent Neanderthal and the remainder Sasquatch.
(Must have been some kinda orgy....?)
