I guess I'm here... I came to understand why and how you guys think the way you do. I'm extremely liberal and have a burning hatred for a good amount of the right, however I still want to contribute. I dislike being divided, I dislike any phobias that I know many of you have, and after reading some of the opinions on here I can honestly say that I see no good that can come from this website. The garbage spewed on here makes me want to puke. The clear disregard for political correctness and the way others may feel is so unimaginably disgusting to me that I doubt I can agree with anything being said here. I want to make clear that I'm not on this website to be absorbed into the alt-right echo-chamber that FreeRepublic is; I'm here to get a better understanding of how my fellow humans can be actively saying these things. I do not wish to cause any kind of drama, I just hope you guys can welcome my different viewpoints; If not I'll leave as soon as I came with the knowledge that this website is just a hate filled echo-chamber.

It would help the discussion if you explain what you mean by “can be actively saying these things.”
It won’t take you long to discover FR is for people who value small, Constitutionally-limited government; individual liberty and freedom; belief in the power of the individual to control his or her own life; a just moral society; a colorblind society that does not balkanize people for political gain and does not pit one group against another.
It would also be helpful for you to explain why you (most likely) despise all of these these beliefs.

Good intention, but if we all posted to that source, they would then say they were being harassed or even “Carpet Bombed”. If genuinely curious, this person will find out over time what most of us are like. That may take year or two, as we go through the usual calendar of events in the year.

It’s amazing how many Lefties think they can talk to you face to face out in public and fool you into believing they’re also conservatives. They think they can fake “our lingo” - not realizing we have no “lingo”. They fully believe the caricatures of conservatives they see on TV are true to life, because they’ve not spent any significant time around us to know any better. So they think all they have to do is imitate that by throwing a few key words / phrases into their speech. It’s very amusing to witness.

Ever hear of "Theonomic positivism?" That means that right and wrong are only what G-d says they are. No G-d, no right and wrong. It's that simple. Yet you can see G-d's Laws as "oppressive" while human laws through some strange magic are not, and represent some non-existent subjective construct you call "social justice."
