The hilarious duo of Diamond and Silk is a danger to society.
That’s according to Facebook.
The pro-Trump pair posted on the embattled social media platform on Friday night, saying after months of correspondence, they were deemed to be “unsafe to the community.”
“Diamond And Silk have been corresponding since September 7, 2017, with Facebook (owned by Mark Zuckerberg), about their bias censorship and discrimination against D&S brand page,” they wrote.
“Finally after several emails, chats, phone calls, appeals, beating around the bush, lies, and giving us the run around, Facebook gave us another bogus reason why Millions of people who have liked and/or followed our page no longer receives notification and why our page, post and video reach was reduced by a very large percentage,” echoing the complaints of many conservative and pro-Trump pages.
Here is the reply from Facebook. Thu, Apr 5, 2018 at 3:40 PM: “The Policy team has came to the conclusion that your content and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community.”
The pair say it took “6 Months, 29 days, 5 hrs, 40 minutes and 43 seconds” to get a response, which they add the network said is “final and it is not appeal-able in any way.”
They posed several questions to Facebook and Zuckerberg, including, “What is unsafe about two Blk-women supporting the President Donald J. Trump?”
“This is deliberate bias, censorship and discrimination. These tactics are unacceptable and we want answers!” they wrote.
Diamond and Silk shot to fame after the Drudge Report linked to several of their videos and they made appearances with then-candidate Trump on the campaign trail.
One of their big moments came when they tore into Republican debate moderator Megyn Kelly in 2015.

I don't use Facebook, but I think it serves many people a useful purpose, which is to preserve a corner of the internet for themselves and join a forum that is a mere plaything to what we have here on FR.
It's true. Facebook will put your face on the internet. But the big lie is that your face would be private and that Facebook would preserve your freedom to speak and to hear the speech of others.
The 1984-ish Power that grew from that simple Facebook "service" has done much destruction to true community and friendship.

The security personnel at my firm (military-related) prohibited all employees (and their nuclear families) from joining up with Facebook or the like.
They were correct.
I think the facebook argument is more like the railroads. You have a product but need the railroads to ship it to market.The railroads want to charge more than you will make and can put you out of business. The only good solution is competition, sites that don’t censor. Once that begins to take off you will see facebook and Youtube begging for users.

I complained to FB about a picture of Sarah Palin with a gun to her head and their response was to send my information to the person who posted it.
I hope they SUE FB into oblivion.

Although I do believe GOD has at times spoken to me, that He personally warned me not to sign up for this particular army never happened. Instinct He bestowed in me gave me the feeling this was something to avoid. Any organization that digs through your closet to such a personal degree is nefarious at the very least. Both Twitter and Facebook are two in the social media genre which have never found their way into bookmarks or favorites. They are visited only to inform me, never to converse. When entering their domain it is felt as though we sneak into the lion’s den and desire to beat a hasty retreat. Surprise, now we find You Tube following the army of Satan and sharing their rules.

There are some secure peer to peer applications that are interesting. I’ve tried Retroshare with a few others but one problem is that most people don’t want to expend any effort to secure privacy.
The Freedombox project was supposed to produce a plug in appliance fully configured but that project seems to be in perpetual gestation.
However, there are notices from FB about people I know asking if I want to FRiend up with them. The only way they could have found these people I know is via my sending them emails in the past, and matching up their FB email addresses with mine.......
Facebook and Zuckerman are threat to mankind.

Someone said it best which motivated me to quit FB: “if it is free, then YOU are the product”.
-unless you think it is OK to pay FB for your privacy, but either way, paying for your privacy or selling yourself out, is it worth it? To be able to broadcast to the world, strangers included,your life, pictures of your dog, your dinner (which I never understood), or more sobering, your family (for the kid nappers and child molestors) and those people and things you value, your plans...(like when you will be away from home on vacation, for the robbers).
In hindsight I am sorry I was ever seduced int signing up and exposing myself,,,up to now!

If Diamond and Silk are “dangerous”, then what are joe and Mika and Don Lemmon and Joy Reed and all the rest of them who personally insult Trump and call him a liar everyday?
To be frank, never seeing Maris EVER was the greatest disappointment in watching that show. The show itself is still our classic go to for the evening as Cozi network airs the shows every evening for hours at a time. Find this much better viewing than the cat and mouse game seen on the ‘news’ networks.

After being on fb for 8 years you see many weird and discusting posts. One thing that is lacking on fb is common sense.
So Zuckerberg may have a point. Diamond and Silk speak plain common sense (with a flare), and therein lies the “threat.”
