I deleted FB a few days ago.
I am done that arrogant smelly sweatshirt punk who stole the whole FB idea from the Winkelvoss twins in the first place.
Someone said it best which motivated me to quit FB: “if it is free, then YOU are the product”.
-unless you think it is OK to pay FB for your privacy, but either way, paying for your privacy or selling yourself out, is it worth it? To be able to broadcast to the world, strangers included,your life, pictures of your dog, your dinner (which I never understood), or more sobering, your family (for the kid nappers and child molestors) and those people and things you value, your plans...(like when you will be away from home on vacation, for the robbers).
In hindsight I am sorry I was ever seduced int signing up and exposing myself,,,up to now!
You are a good, thoughtful person, Wildbill, and you identified so many of the possibilities that cause you harm.
Why would people do that.
Glad to learn you left. I have read where some folks were having trouble shaking MZ, the annoying one.
