Irrelevant, as Sessions serves at the pleasure of the President.

I think John Robert more likely...

Chief Justice Roberts. He is the one who appoints FISA judges.. with zero oversight I will add. He straight up gets to decide who will be a FISA judge...no questions asked.

His appointments are curious for a Chief Justice lifted to his lofty position by a Republican President and approved by the Senate (how many of them are “in on it”?)...Especially since he has zero oversight with his choices. Why would he appoint almost all Democrat -appointed judges?

>>>>> Since May 2014..., four of the five judges appointed by Chief Justice Roberts to the FISA Court were appointed to their prior federal court positions by Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. <<<<< from wiki

So besides the 0bamacare “decision”, we have had 4/5 Clinton or 0bama judges being appointed to the FISA court..... BY JOHN ROBERTS. This just as the enemy believed they were about to consolidate power with a Hellary win.....

He was blackmailed for his vote on 0bamacare and he’s been under duress since then (and maybe before) ... he’s appointing FISA judges that will hide the corruption AND set people up who may jeopardize their scam.

Chief Justice Roberts is one of the players in this cabal if unwilling.

This scandal is earth shattering. This has been and continues to be a civil war without guns yet.

Freaking unbelievable the times we’re living.

I doubt he’s being blackmailed. He’s just a weak, mild mannered individual incapable of managing a hostile organization. He follows what the Deep State DOJ executives lay out for him instead of setting out his own goals & agendas and LEADING DOJ to accomplish them.

He’s meek and submissive to his staff.

Sessions in a passive aggressive beta. He gets animated when you attack his integrity and that’s about it.

Bill klinton had 1300 FBI files to keep power over his party and everyone else. NSA gave files on every American and half of the world also. The real question is who is not being blackmailed?

I had thought about the blackmail/extortion scenario back after the Obamacare decision from Roberts.

I had thought that Roberts was a good man, and a sound jurist, who was a milder, friendlier version of Rehnquist. Then I asked myself, what would I do if I were subject to blackmail or extortion?

In the case of blackmail that would threaten my marriage, I probably would not have put myself up for SCOTUS in the first place. In the case of blackmail that would easily place me in jail, ditto. In the case of blackmail that would simply shame me with the rest of the public, I might just put up with it, rather than the shame of a bad decision.

In the case of extortion, “come up with the ‘right’ decision or we’ll kill you and/or your family”, I honestly think I would quietly plan my vacation to Malta, make my largest financial assets liquid and accessible overseas, get my essential papers and personals shipped over ahead of time, and head over there, and tell nobody until we were on the plane to Malta after I handed down the “wrong” decision. From Malta I would go to the non-extraditable country of my choice and yell loud and wide what I did and why. As Obama would be president, I would not resign, in order to keep the seat from turning.

But that’s just me, and I’ll never have a chance to prove it. This plan could be modified for Jeff Sessions or anyone else who has the financial reserves to do it.

There is no need to get conspiratorial when a simpler explanation is in plain sight. Namely, Sessions lacks courage and is deathly afraid of the circling MSM sharks that would rip into him if he targeted one of their sacred cows.

As 1 of a 100 Senators Sessions never had to exhibit courage. He could make any firebrand conservative speech he wanted and vote conservatively all day without ever affecting the outcome. The Democrats and RINOs would always prevail, giving Sessions cover and shielding him from any possible media firestorm.

Now, as AG, is the first time Sessions has ever had to stand alone...and he’s terrified. He couldn’t recuse himself (without breathing a hint in advance to his boss) from decison-making re Russia fast enough. He has fully backed Rosenstein ever since.

Sessions has known Roy Moore for decades. He knows Moore is a Christian of integrity. But when publicly asked about these sketchy, obviously politically motivated accusations, Sessions couldn’t throw Moore under the bus any quicker than he did. That was pure cowardice.

Those who believe he’s being blackmailed are just not paying attention. Sessions turns chicken at the drop of a hat. There are examples I didn’t mention. Taken all togerher, the facts plus Occam’s razor solve this problem very neatly.

The FBI’s first director, J. Edgar Hoover, was reputed to have compiled incriminating dossiers on just about every top office-holder in Washington, D.C., up to and including the presidents...

Nothing changes. This is the same tactic Comey tried when he showed Trump the fake Dossier cooked up by the DNC / GPS Fusion / FBI. Comey showed it to Trump with the unsaid “look what we have on you”. What Comey didn’t expect is that Trump called him out and the dossier as bull-bleep. Comey lost his leverage.

I suggest firing Jeff Sessions over the Holiday recess and make a recess appointment of John Bolton. The first act of Bolton should be to fire Deputy Atty Gen Rosenthal.

I’m still clinging to the hope Sleepy Jeff Sessions is hard at work behind the scenes building strong cases to indict the hydra heads who dwell in the swamp.

That seems like the way Trump would operate...

Hold the cards until he can get the most effective results...

Drop the hammer right before the 2018 midterms...

Apparently, for the foreseeable future, every article posted on a “conservative” website by a “conservative” writer will include a slam of Roy Moore as well as a slam of Donald Trump.

So glad I’ve kept my subscription money in my pockets.

I just assume almost every single RINO or Republican that inexplicably turns on an issue is being blackmailed ever since Newt Gingrich mysteriously spiked the Clinton impeachment at the Judiciary Committee level, then resigned due to having an affair with a staffer himself.

Those FBI files that Hillary appropriated twenty-some years ago have gotten a LOT of mileage.

I’m willing to defend Sessions - and Trump - up to a point on this issue.

And, big picture first - I think it is unlikely that our Constitution and form of government is going to survive the stresses that have been placed on it since the 1960s. So, keep that in mind for what follows. And forget (for a moment) that it’s Hillary.

Arresting and jailing the losing Presidential candidate will be an unprecedented act. Trump recognized this right away, in his remarks in November and December 2016, and I’m sure Sessions did as well.

Once Hillary is prosecuted and jailed, there will never be another peaceful transfer of power in the nation.

Sessions has no cajones. The DOJ is loaded with corrupt holdovers from the Obama/Holder/Lynch administration, makes it inevitable that Sessions must be dumped.

Hillary has 900 purloined FBI files that were never returned. 900 is a big enough number to include every elected official in Washington DC. They were never returned because she found enough dirt in them to make them profitable.

Note to self: Do not EVER run for public office unless my past is totally sinles and lily white.
