Let's begin with some accusations. They are well founded and as credible as any against Roy Moore perhaps more so. The FBI's first director, J. Edgar Hoover, was reputed to have compiled incriminating dossiers on just about every top office-holder in Washington, D.C., up to and including the presidents, under several of whose tenures Hoover served. Whenever there was talk of firing him, Hoover reportedly met with the contemporary chief of state and persuaded him to retain him (Hoover) in his post. Regarding President Kennedy, there was surely a great deal in the dossier, especially as concerned his scandalous relationship with Marilyn Monroe. Kennedy, who had been rumored to be planning to replace Hoover, quickly changed his mind after one of those meetings. So much for the accusations. Let's talk current events. Jeff Sessions, as senator, had a long history of being a staunch conservative.

I’m still clinging to the hope that Elvis is alive and well in the witness protection program. We’ll see whose hope materializes first.
I just assume almost every single RINO or Republican that inexplicably turns on an issue is being blackmailed ever since Newt Gingrich mysteriously spiked the Clinton impeachment at the Judiciary Committee level, then resigned due to having an affair with a staffer himself.
Here is my question about Judge Roberts. Some here have said that he is blackmailed through his children, because he did not go through the proper channels to adopt them.
Why would he need to cheat, as a supreme court justice, when his approval for adoption is pretty much a slam dunk? Am I missing something on this?
Those FBI files that Hillary appropriated twenty-some years ago have gotten a LOT of mileage.
I’m willing to defend Sessions - and Trump - up to a point on this issue.
And, big picture first - I think it is unlikely that our Constitution and form of government is going to survive the stresses that have been placed on it since the 1960s. So, keep that in mind for what follows. And forget (for a moment) that it’s Hillary.
Arresting and jailing the losing Presidential candidate will be an unprecedented act. Trump recognized this right away, in his remarks in November and December 2016, and I’m sure Sessions did as well.
Once Hillary is prosecuted and jailed, there will never be another peaceful transfer of power in the nation.
And thank god for that!
Sessions has no cajones. The DOJ is loaded with corrupt holdovers from the Obama/Holder/Lynch administration, makes it inevitable that Sessions must be dumped.
I agree but would also add......Sessions has worked in the system so long he thinks it actually works. He sees the Democrats as his ‘friends across the aisle’. He doesn’t see the opposition as out to get us the way normal people do.
Wait, Elvis isn’t dead ? / S
That is an astute observation. The GOP side of the Senate clings to the idea of comity. The Democrat side is ruthlessly partisan—and driven by a win at any cost mindset. Sessions, being Old School, is squarely in the comity camp.

You are exactly right ... although to save the republic it may be necessary.
But there needs to be a smoking gun ... probably with respect to the Clinton Foundation bribery scheme ... and there need to be numerous, credible eye witnesses willing to testify it was a deliberate scheme to commit Treason against the United States by selling us out to our enemies.
That is a tall order. As you stated, Trump and Sessions understand this completely. That is why I am convinced the Mueller investigation is proceeding exactly as they planned it, and will begin to show indictments soon against Clinton/Obama underlings.
This is very dangerous business. I believe they are going about this the only way possible. Whether it ever reaches the Hillary level or not remains to be seen.
Note to self: Do not EVER run for public office unless my past is totally sinles and lily white.
Of course Elvis is alive. Facebook says so—and when has Facebook ever been wrong? (Lol.)

bingo...we have black mail. we have pay offs and if those first two do not work in giving the cabal that has been running the united states there are two things that can happen to remove a non cooperating bureaucrat or politician. create a scandal to remove them from power or murder the person.
“Misspelled Rosenstein as Rosenthal.”
Rosenfeinstein.
Why is Mueller not investigating Sessions?
“The FBIs first director, J. Edgar Hoover, was reputed to have compiled incriminating dossiers on just about every top office-holder in Washington, D.C., up to and including the presidents...”
And the depth of information available today is of an order of magnitude greater than in Hoover’s day. Thanks to the Surveilliance States of America gifted to us under the pretxt of fighting terrorism, no one and no fact is secure.
He serves the pleasure of the President and can ne totally destroyed by anybody with damaging info if he does nor do their bidding. I have no idea what info anybody may have on him. And do not care to speculate if he has anything to hide.
