Drudge Dumps Trump After Charlottesville Riots and Deadly Racist Attack

It’s been a little over 200 days since Donald Trump was sworn in as president.
The president has been under a constant media assault since he first stepped into the Oval Office.

The media attacks have been constant, brutal and often fictitious.
But it now looks like he has lost Matt Drudge.

The Drudge Report headline on Saturday reads: “Make America Hate Again”.
Obviously, Drudge is pushing responsibility for Saturday’s race riots and deadly assault on President Trump.
It took six months for President Trump to lose his most influential supporter.
This is a very sad development.

You are more correct than you know. I bought advertising on the Drudge Report under very controlled conditions. Essentially zero effect on clicks, for a ridiculous amount of money. They sell by impressions, not by clicks, and with the refresh rate, there is no telling if anyone even sees your specific ad.

I have no idea who is paying millions per year to him to get banner ads on his site, but I know they get nothing for the money, which made me wonder if the ad revenue is merely some sort of laundered payoff.

that would prevent Drudge from taking money to run headlines
or links to to articles too. And who would know? That would only

He seems to have submitted to the anti-American Left. There is an all out assult on the forces of freedom and self determination. They demand complete submission to Leftist thought, or they will stop at nothing to destroy you.

"The city of Charlottesville and City Manager Maurice Jones are now facing a federal civil rights lawsuit that includes an allegation that “political pressure” led city officials earlier this week to waffle on whether they would provide security at a controversial rally in Emancipation Park on Saturday.

According to the lawsuit filed Thursday by the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia and The Rutherford Institute, Police Chief Al Thomas told Unite the Right rally organizer Jason Kessler on Monday that police would provide protection at the rally.

But at a private meeting Tuesday, after the city held a news conference Monday announcing that it would provide Kessler a permit only if he moved the event about a mile away to McIntire Park, city officials told him that Thomas had “changed his mind,” the lawsuit claims.

At the Tuesday meeting, according to the lawsuit, Kessler asked why changes had been made to security … “and if this was due to political pressure. Capt. [Wendy] Lewis indicated affirmatively with her facial expression and body language.”

The city has cited concerns about security and safety as its reasons for asking the event to be relocated. At a news conference Thursday, Thomas said everyone would be protected whether they are gathered at Emancipation Park or McIntire Park.
