The Fake News Media Created Charlottesville, and Will Create More in the Future
DB Daily Update ^ | 8.13.2017 | David Blackmon

What happened in Charlottesville, VA on Saturday should surprise no one. This was an inevitable outcome of this country’s lack of anything resembling an independent national news media. If anything, it’s surprising it took this long for such a tragedy to happen.

For two years now, leftist agitators funded by George Soros-supported groups have been violently assaulting supporters of Donald Trump without a single word of objection or condemnation from any leader of the Democratic Party. Not a word. Worse, none of these “leaders” have been asked by anyone with any major national news outlet why they stand silently by as supporters of their political party engage in increasingly vile and violent protest actions. Not a single Democrat politician has been questioned by any “journalist” why they not only refuse to condemn such actions, but tacitly endorse them by proclaiming themselves to be participants in the “resistance”. Not a single “journalist” has asked any Democrat why they refuse to even condemn the rise of a neo-fascist group that calls itself “Antifa”, and which pays masked thugs to burn buildings, attack law enforcement officers and beat up anyone who disagrees with them.

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe is one of those Democrat “leaders” who has proclaimed himself to be a part of the resistance. It should surprise no one that, armed with the knowledge that a bunch of ignorant redneck White Supremacist dimwits were coming to one of his state’s cities to stage a rally, McAuliffe looked the other way as the Soros groups bused in hundreds of paid Antifa and Black Lives Matter (also Soros funded) counter-protesters into the city.

The whole Charlottesville thing was a put up job, very likely by Soros who has finally figured out how to play both ends, and more the right against the left, to the effect that Trump supporters will heretofore be viewed as disaffected nazis, klansman, and other ultra-rightest jerks.

Those flags even still had the creases as if they’d just been unpacked.

We’ve been played, and it’s going to be really hard to earn back whatever credibility has been stolen from us.

Look for this kind of stuff to be the new normal.

I am a Christian white conservative in Alabama. I am in my mid-50s. Most of those I associate with are conservative.

I have never known anyone that has a nazi flag. I certainly wouldn’t associate with them if they did. In fact, I don’t know of anyone that would parade around with confederate flags.

They try to make conservatives out to be racist. I invite black families to my church so I don’t get that either. They try to define us. It does get old.

Counterterrorism vs Anti-terrorism and Other Fun Word Plays (Aug 12 2017) (cued up to quote) 8:44

Jason Goodman: “....find out what's up somebody already actually sent me an email from WikiLeaks from Sid Blumenthal to Hillary Clinton about wanting to create a race kind of riot and I wanted to look at that. . .”

I do not have a link to the wiki e-mail and could not locate it in the wikileaks file. Perhaps someone more familiar with wikileaks can locate and post link to it.

It really isn’t that hard to figure out. If everyone is fairly stable and happy, productive, the economy drones along at a nice 5% or so. Only chaos can produce a situation where some are able to reap profits of 20-25%. So is it surprising that those with the resources to “create the conditions for their own future prosperity” do all they can to produce chaos? All the labels and names mean nothing. Just those of us struggling to lead ordinary lives with our families at the mercy of those with the ability to squeeze the life out of us. The stage may change, the names of the actors may change but the plot is monotonously plodding.

So true. I listened to an interview before obama was elected about how socialists/commies would take over the USA.

They knew they couldn’t do it using military force. They were going to do it with civil disobedience and financial collapse. That pretty much should explain why the demos are so divisive, why they want unfettered immigration, welfare, etc. They want to destroy what we have and put their government in place.

The foot soldiers may think they will gain their Marxist Utopia but all they will accomplish is 25% profit for names we aren’t allowed to know.

One thing we can do is to correct the language wherever we can.

Nazis are National Socialists (i.e., leftists).

Klansmen have always been closely tied to the Democrat party, and there is little evidence that the Democrats have ever dropped their institutionalized racism (they've changed the language they use to express their racism, but it is as strong as ever).

And what, exactly, is "ultra-rightest"? Isn't that libertarian?

The person in the rear of a rear-ender is always at fault. He had no sane reason to be heading down that street towards pedestrians that fast. He could have stopped and backed up way before plowing into another car that he probably couldn’t see through all the pedestrians. He was either scared out of his wits, angry, insane or some combination thereof.

Still, McCauliffe and the rest of his leftist government is as much to blame as anyone.

This is the most accurate articles I have read about yesterday.

One thing I would really like to see further examined is whether the counter protesters actually had permits.

If they did, who made the decision to let them occupy the streets surrounding Emancipation Park, which is really only a one block wide green space in downtown Charlottesville?

The police and the city or university are at fault at these rallies for not keeping things under control and keeping opposite views separated. It should be safe for both Antifa and the Klan to demonstrate. if not, don’t issue a permit to the second applicant and arrest the side that has none. But letting people face off in the street and yell and throw things at each other is a formula for tragedy.

the city had an obligation to establish adequate safety when they issue a permit or know a large crowd is coming to the city. laving the street open and letting people throw things at each other and yell from opposite sides of a narrow street is not adequate safety and this and other incidents prove it. So the city IS responsible to prevent such incidents. Any rookie cop would know that people have been driving crowds into cars all over the world and here in the states.

None of the precludes a jury from finding the driver guilty. but the officials are also culpable and the DOJ or state AG should be all over that investigation . In Cal when coulter was scheduled, the chancellor of UC should have been sent to jail along with the campus police chief or the Berkeley chief for failure to protect the public and the property of the university and the first amendment rights of the group that invited her and of course Ann herself. But the governor of Cal was too busy raising taxes and hugging trees.

if these crimes and ministerial negligence were dealt with the incidents would decrease.

This is all on the City and possibly the VSP, who take their marching orders from McAuliffe.

The University had no part in deciding how to handle this. And all of these incidents occurred in parts of the City not particularly close to UVA.

From the article:

“...Guess what? Violence ensued. Lots of violence, as the police – no doubt on orders from Democrat politicians – made little effort to keep the violent leftist agitators separated from the ignorant redneck White Supremacists. People were beaten with fists. People were beaten with bats. People were sprayed with pepper spray. Police were assaulted, mainly by the Soros people (no surprise there).
Then, once all the rednecks had finished with their “White Supremacistin’ ” – presumably because their tiki torches had burned out and their wife beater shirts had begun to reek – and dispersed, some idiot from Ohio decided to drive his Dodge Challenger into a group of counter-protesters, killing one and sending 19 more to the hospital.
We will hear much talk in the news media in the coming days about the background of this guy, whose names is James Alex Fields, Jr. We’ll see every fake journalist at CNN and MSNBC and the broadcast networks do everything they can to tie him around the neck of President Trump, and Republicans in general, something they have steadfastly refused to do with the Democrats and their Antifa and Black Lives Matter troops.
What we won’t hear much about is the fact that, as abhorrent as they are, the redneck dimwits had a valid permit to stage their rallies. It’s sad, but it is a reality in our free society that clown shows like these people get to stage peaceful rallies if properly permitted. That’s what the first amendment guarantees. When properly managed by local officials and law enforcement, there is no reason for anyone to get hurt.
We also won’t hear that the Antifa and Black Lives Matters protesters had no such permit. We won’t see much, if any analysis of who it is that paid those counter-protesters to show up, who paid for the buses they arrived in. We won’t see much, if any analysis of the fact that the mayor of Charlottesville is himself a self-described “Democratic Activist” who was educated at…wait for it…Berkeley, whose campus was the scene of an Antifa-fed riot early this year. We won’t see anyone in the mainstream news media point out the reality that all of the violence that took place on Saturday could have been easily avoided had the Democratic public officials in charge of the situation done their jobs rather than actively encouraging the confrontations.
It is because of the things we won’t see the media do in the wake of this tragedy – because we do not have a functioning, independent news media in this country that works to hold favored public officials accountable in any real sense – that we will see more and more Charlottesvilles repeated in other Democrat-run cities and states in the coming years

Just another reason to be thankful that Democrats only control 15 governor’s offices these days.

That is all.”
