North Korea must be using Obama as an adviser because you don’t prep for a sneak attack and then tell everyone

Everything I see (and my gut--which is usually correct) says that we are about to attack.

It will be nothing like what the Norks expect.

Mattis is shock and awe to the nth degree.

That said, I think the artillery aimed at Seoul will by eliminated first.

The goal will be to break the spirit of the Nork military leadership...and it will crumble immediately.

Trump is going to reorder the world as we know it.

This is his opportunity to go big (or go home...and he won't).

This will put Mattis and Trump and their view of world order in the history books.

Iran will fall shortly thereafter.

This is signature stuff.

That matters when leaving a mark on the World...and Trump and Mattis, and even Kelly and Tillerson, are of the same mind regarding such stuff.

Daily Beast - Sensationalism packaged as news.

They have simply reworded and recharacterized facts already known into something...sensational.

A North Korean army commander called Trump’s threat “a load of nonsense.”

"NK will launch fire on the US"
NK commander: "I would say that is correct (otherwise I get eaten by dogs)

"US will launch fire and fury on NK"
NK commander: "I would say that is nonsense (otherwise I get eaten by dogs)

MOABs explode over the target, and thus the concussion does the damage. Kim U-fat, or what’s left of him will be a bunch of gooey red protoplasm, as disintegration is the normal outcome.

Kind of screwy, the norks wouldn’t have to put it on a
sub to reach any place in the south.

The NK sub sails off in the direction of the US. It never arrives. Who can prove what happened to it?

The author is wrong about the Nork's "preemptive strike on Guam." They said they would launch four missiles which would land in the ocean 20 miles or so outside of Guam. That is a demonstration, not an attack. If the government casts it as a threat to Guam it is because they want a reason to "defend" our turf.

Just for the record. Of course if they hit Guam, even "by accident," then the Norks are done for and with my total blessing.

That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. They can hit any part of SK with a missile launched from NK. Why would they need to use a sub launched missile to attack SK?

Sub launched missiles w nuke warheads are solely for the purpose of hitting the US mainland. But all their subs are diesel powered and need to surface regularly to charge batteries, so I think they’d have a hard time of a sub sneak attack on the US.

There is no way a diesel powered sub could sneak past any US ship. Diesel engines are very loud and can be heard from miles away. The second one is detected in SK waters it would be depth charged into oblivion.

"North Korea has been steadily assembling all the technologies it needs to put a nuclear warhead on a submarine-launched missile."

Well just sink all their subs then. So there.

North Korea has been steadily assembling all the technologies it needs to put a nuclear warhead on a submarine-launched missile.

This is exactly how the US was attacked with an EMP in the book One Second After.

North Korea's navy is comically pathetic.... but they only need to sneak one weapon in, so it cannot be totally dismissed.

They have 70 midget subs, and 20 Romeo class subs. (Romeo's were developed in the 1950s and put into service in the 1960s.)

North Korea can scream and yell and threaten and bluster all they want. Go right ahead.

But if they should DO something stupid, like accidentally hit Guam with even an unarmed missile, or do a full dress-rehearsal missile with warhead test in the middle of the Pacific, then boom, boom, out go the lights.
