I've noticed that leaving my browser open to FR really slows down my internet connection and or simply disrupts google Chrome. This started happening after last year's big long crash.
Anybody else seeing problems?
Yes, very slow.
No problems here with IE, Firefox, or Opera. I often leave the ‘puters on, even when I go on vacation.
I think you may have a bug of some sort.
No problems on a phone browser.
I am good over here and it’s fast.
I have not noticed any such problem.
Everything here has to go through NSA servers first, so, it kind of slows things down.
On iPad with really fast internet here, no prob.
I am using the latest Firefox for Apple and it’s smooth. Safari works well too.
I did have a little trouble with Opera (which is owned by Google/Chrome)... Where I would have to occasionally refresh the screen.
Try hitting other web sites that are big and see if you get the same results?
Firefox user. 2 days ago Windows 10 massive update shook up things pretty good. Browser isnt even acting the same. Had to reinstall an older program to get it to work. Funky stuff.
FR seems just kinda more clunky but I think its more how the OS is rendering than anything else new.
If you are on a phone or tablet it sometimes helps to clear the task manager.
Switched from Firefox to Palemoon back during the kerfuffle. No problem here.

Same here-—I get the top couple of lines and then have to wait for the page to load.
.
I have noticed a couple of problems lately, but I have blamed them on recent "updates" by Microshaft (windows 10) or Norton : line wrap inoperable on many web sites (including Free Republic, but not today) and microscopic text as the default generally...
Same here. Using Chrome or IE, same problem
