“Why did it have to be me” from their Arrival album. I think this is my favorite ABBA song. I’m including three versions here. First is the studio version that was was released on their Arrival album. Second is a live version from 1976. Third is a very early, and very different, version of the song, which was called “Happy Hawaii” at the time:

I’m not including any songs from The Visitors, which was their last album.
But you didn’t rate them!
No capes, and that includes Raiders fans. Although I think they’ll go over good in Vegas (it’s the whole Elvis thing.)
Must tag Edna!
Mostly black and death metal. trust me...
Impressive! Now you can start on Agnetha’s solo albums and Bjorn and Benny’s theatrical endeavors.
Finland has to be the Death Metal capital of the world.
Ya Habibi Taala Alhaani (My Love, Come to Me)--Asmahan
We have nothing to fear, but Zamfir itself.
I saw Amon Amarth with Entombed. Try listening to Bathory. It’s wicked. And these guys are Swedish.
I always thought I could get a gig as a Death Metal Singer. All you have to go is gargle in the microphone.
You found 31 more than I did.
The one I really can’t stand is “Fernando” that ode to the Communists who were trying to destroy Spain. Thank God for Franco.
You forgot “Chess”. I realize it was only written by two of them but the score is absolutely beautiful and did turn out one hit song “One Night in Bangkok.”
I always liked that tune. That was one of Phil Collins' collaborations, I believe. Much different sound than the '70s ABBA stuff.
Yep. Definitely didn’t sound like ABBA.
Frida actually isn’t Swedish. She was born in Norway to a Norwegian mother and a German Wehrmacht soldier during the Nazi occupation, that’s why they had to flee Norway after the war.
Don’t listen to the nay-sayers. Thanks for the post - I love ABBA!!
