I am sorry that it has come to this with your buddy. Prayers for you and your family, and wishing Ranger a smooth trip to the Bridge.
We all cried like a babies when we had to send Jasper over the Rainbow Bridge. Our pets become part of the family and we miss them terribly after they are gone.
My boss had to send his cat of many years over the bridge yesterday and everyone is saddened for the loss. I just told him that, all creation gives Him praise, I don’t know how it works exactly but I believe our pets play a part in the heavenly chorus.

Our last German Shepherd was a long-haired one. She died of lymphoma in 2009. So I know what you’re going through.
I believe Ranger will be there waiting for you when you go to your reward, because there is no end to God’s grace and His desire to please his children.

Oh dear, sad news. I am so sorry.
This is why I cant bring myself to get another pet, dog or cat. You end up loving them so much and then one you have make this terrible decison.

I’m sorry...we lost our beautiful, beloved Maltese Maggie to kidney disease last October and my heart still aches...
she was the perfect dog in every way...
I don’t envy you tonight...i had to take her to the vet early in the morning and was up the night before and went out for long walks three times; 11PM, 3AM and 5:30AM, i was so upset..
I am really, really sorry. Gd bless. We were there last July and it is still almost too painful.
