I was sitting at home tonight when the door bell rang. I answered and Young dude introduces himself as representing the food and water organization. His claim? He claims that they are pressuring lawmakers to invest in infrastructure to replace lead pipes in urban areas. He wanted me to sign a petition and donate.
I examined the petition and losing led up the website to find this:

I kicked his false pretense liberal ass off of my porch. I think this organization could use a freeping.

I had some lefty chick come by once for a clean water petition.
This is in the DC area, where there is no serious prob.
I quickly told her that I wasn’t into that “eco nazi stuff” and, besides, it’s not like there’s anyone getting sick from the water now, is there?
Now I know first hand what a baby seal looks like when it gets clubbed.
In desperation, I made up a sign using 8 1/2 x 11 yellow proof paper and used the words on the sign below (sign wasn't out in those days).
Of a sudden, friends stopped visiting us. They saw the yellow paper on the door and thought we were quarantined.
This one would probably get you sued by some snowflake. 
Replaced the porch light with floodlights.
Great on those warm summer evenings when the “No Soliciting” sign is ignored.
Municipalities don’t use lead pipes to deliver water: such pipes simply wouldn’t be strong enough to withstand the gigantic pressures involved.
Lead pipes, however, are still service in SOME very old houses, but even here do not cause problems IF the municipal water is delivered with a PH that avoids eroding the lead.
That was the problem in Flint: the fools running the water treatment plants were completely ignorant regarding potable water chemistry, and thus the lead pipes in these really old houses started poisoning to people who lived in them.
BTW, I haven’t drunk tap water in decades: in the olden days I would have spring water delivered for drinking and in the latter decades have always had a 7-stage undersink RO system.
Figures. There’s hardly anything remaining, anymore, that the liberal left hasn’t tainted with their lies.
Yea the liberals messed up the Boy Scouts too.. THey can’t take the Scout oath anymore!!
