Er - I've been doing that for the last 20 years.
take heavy doses of zinc ... they shorten the lifespan of a cold (at least for me)

My son came down with a cold on New Years eve and it took a week for him to get through the worst. He still has a cough. Then last Saturday I had a low blood sugar event due to not taking a break from a task to eat. By Sunday I was sick with a cold and it got worse and worse. I will say a prayer for you and tell others about this tuff cold that’s sneaking around
