What would Thanksgiving Day be without more gushing over the Obamas? The Washington Post on Thursday declared That Michelle Obama’s “departure from the East Wing signaled the end of a singular era for American fashion.” The piece by Robin Givhan contrasts with the writer’s bashing of the looks of conservative women such as Carly Fiorina, who she mocked as a “style bully.”
Regarding Mrs. Obama, Givhan fawned, “She helped young people see that fashion is more than catwalk extravaganzas and ‘Project Runway.’"

Since out new pres isn’t going to accept a salary for his work, I doubt his wife will use our money for clothes-besides, it looks as though she has plenty of her own outfits-a lot of 1st ladies don’t pay for those clothes-the designers gladly make them for her and she just wears/rents it-taxpayer money not needed-that is where Nancy Reagan got so many of her lovely outfits. As a former model, I’m pretty sure Melania is as capable of doing her hair as any of the rest of us are...

I suspect she invented her own reality, validated by those who told her exactly what she wanted to hear (or else be replaced): lies.
Her worthless designers obviously loved the dreadful look. “Dreadful” means no effort, no thought, no skill, no knowledge... just a cashing of checks.

It doesn’t matter what the media says about Trump or his family. He is President Elect. His wife is beautiful, intelligent (fluent in 5 languages), and poised. His children are equally intelligent, poised and successful.
Let the media compare the Trump family against the Clinton’s and Obama’s, and let’s see whom the public wants to emulate and aspire to be.
Trump Family = Honest, legitimate, handsome, beautiful, smart, successful and wealthy via their own efforts.

I can’t help but wonder if some of the designers were playing jokes on Michelle. She clearly had no sense of fashion, and the designers took full advantage of that.

Of course the designers don’t care about how she looked. She would look like she dressed by picking up random items from the floor of her closet in the dark ... but who even has that stuff on the floor of their closet?
