Obama handing The Peoples’ Internet to Communist China
Canada Free Press ^ | 09/30/16 | Judi McLeod

Here’s hoping the four attorneys general who filed yesterday’s lawsuit won’t let a spiteful America-hating Obama drop a black curtain over ‘the Peoples’ Internet’

There’s not even the slightest shadow of a doubt about to whom President Barack Obama is handing-off the Internet at midnight tonight if the four Republican attorneys general making an 11th-hour bid to block him do not succeed in the lawsuit they filed yesterday.

Obama is handing control of the Internet over to the United Nations International Telecommunications Union (ITU). ITU is run by the Peoples Republic of China.

“Already under fire for seeking to usurp new powers to control the Internet, the United Nations International Telecommunications Union (ITU) is facing intense criticism after appointing a Chinese Communist to lead the controversial UN agency starting next year. (The New American, Oct. 27, 2014.)

A pox on Congress for failing to step up.

I thought Cruz was on this. That’s his job isn’t it? Being a Senator?

The US military created the internet. It is ours, and we made it happen. It is not Obama’s to give away. I heard the talking heads in support of this fiasco yesterday saying that it would be best for commercial enterprise to run it. This is the same argument, if I recall, for letting the Panama Canal be open to commercial interests, which turned out to be the Chinese, who now operate the canal. The real reason is to eliminate criticism and free speech.

Obama’s agenda before giving away control of the internet .....

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

I am going to have to think of another word for muzzies. The internet will be policed in the future. Only Christians and Jews will be allowed to be insulted.

Since our government operations and banking are all over the net, why to China who is ready to financially collapse and are also not friendly to us?

I talked to my Son in Law about this. He said it is a big fuss about nothing. He is an expert on networking on the Internet. It is his full time job. His points:

1. The ICANN stays in the U.S. with its infrastructure and expertise.

2. The ICANN remains an American corporation, subject to American laws.

3. The ICANN has very little real power. Abuses would be near instantly detected by network managers, and workarounds implemented.

4. Foreign governments like China who want to censor the Internet in areas under their control already do about as much as they can. The ICANN has no effect on that.

That is what the subject matter expert told me.

This quote was translated into English from an article appearing in the Czech Republic as published in the Prager Zeitung of 28 April 2010.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgement to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.

“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

“The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.

“It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

Ask your son in law about the following:

If Statements 1-4 that you listed are true, then what is the purpose of handing over CONTROL of ICANN to China/U.N. ?

It has been in process for a long time. The real change is not renewing a contract that pays ICANN from the government purse.

It is only removing a small amount of U.S. government influence on the ICANN.

Now, if China bought the ICANN corporation, and said they were moving it to China, it might be a small problem, my S-I-L said.

So, this is a long planned, slowly implemented way to remove government funding of part of ICANN.

Simple.

He said the idea that ICANN is being handed over to the U.N. is simply false.

“Subject to American laws.”

Got it. Why didn’t I think of that? That is so convincing that I will now support TPP because the experts say it is also good.

That would make sense if we had a President who was committed to reducing the 'reach' and 'cost' of our government, but we are talking about a President who is happy to fund sex changes for transgender midgets.

WHY would he be concerned about reducing costs ? Especially considering it is such a minor cost.

I know. But I’m sick and tired of these posers who get elected to make laws to protect American intersts and then run around running for other offices or fiddling around with unimportant things and end up telling us “well, I tried”.

Career politicians...all talk, no action.
