That would make sense if we had a President who was committed to reducing the 'reach' and 'cost' of our government, but we are talking about a President who is happy to fund sex changes for transgender midgets.
WHY would he be concerned about reducing costs ? Especially considering it is such a minor cost.
Why would Obama do it?
Well, he did not do it unilateraly by himself, it is from legislation that has been building for a long time.
I do not trust Obama, but this appears to be an issue that has been built into a conspiracy, without real facts.
I was extremely concerned until I talked to my Son in Law. He convinced me that it is an issue over little substance. He went into some detail about how the naming convention is a very bad way to control the Internet, and that attempts to use it that way would be easy to counter.
Much of his explanation had to do with how it all works. It made sense, but I will not attempt to repeat it.
It made me very skeptical of this issue.
