I work with techies and I remember last year when I talked to them about a Federal government internet takeover they all said it was no big deal and it was just a way to prevent certain ISP’s hogging all the bandwidth.
This is worse- he’s not taking over the internet, he’s giving it away. You can bet that a short term effect of this will be sky rocketing internet costs which will affect the whole tech industry and unlimited censorship.
Google , facebook etc already censor. You think after 57, 57 Muslim countries put pressure on Google they won’t censor? think again
I’m not saying it’s going to happen tomorow but eventually it will , the timetable ? who knows? I’m sure Obama wanted to get this done before the election to fix it.
