They’d rather look good and lose than admit Trump is the best candidate

Our nation is in deep trouble. Our world is burning down and an anti-American in the White House is fanning the flames. We the people who love America must do something to save ourselves now! We have been let down by the fake conservatives we sent to Washington to put out the fire and start fixing the damage. They have laughed in our faces. We have reluctantly put our faith in the Supreme Court to halt the advance of unconstitutional legislation; but the justices have stabbed us in the back and twisted the blade with smug talk about the fix being “up to the people.”

Until last summer we had no one to champion our cause. It was only us. That has changed with the emergence of Donald Trump as the frontrunner in the Republican primaries. We now have a once in a lifetime opportunity to fix what is wrong and save our country; and we simply cannot squander it.

Yet there are those whose demands for conservative purity have caused them to first scoff at Trump, then throw their “Flavor of the Month” candidate at him to take him out. Since that didn’t work they are lecturing us and pushing Ted Cruz, a man who is a proven liar. Worse still, more than a third of voters believe Cruz is not eligible to be the president. Ted Cruz is not an alternative, but just another way to pat us on the head and tell us to “run along.”

These chattering purists are frightened of losing their influence...

Femocide (I just made that up)

I think I'd have made up the same word, although gynocide would work too, I suppose.

I’ll take Trump or Cruz, but I prefer Cruz. Without Trump though, the presstitutes would already have shoved another RINO down our throats.

Say what you want about Trump, but he's changed the boundaries of discussion away from the Leftist narrative.

He says what he feels like, and doesn't care if some precious snowflake is offended.

Oh gosh. Proven liberal record? He hasn’t voted one thing. You Cruz fans are so dishonest it’s no wonder you approve of Cruz with zero integrity. No surprise.

So was trump lying?

To hell with this parsing of interviews and cutting and pasting of comments. Trump's position on illegals coming back has always been prioritizing professionals and graduates from universities with high ranking. Not everybody. I am so frickin' sickin' tired of this crap. Besides, the only people you convince on touch-back are Cruz fans anyway.

How about dealing with something recent like Cruz's position on waterboarding... or how about Cruz's buddy Mercer who funds the Cruz PAC. The guy is a hedge fund manager that owes the government 6 billion dollars. Point being, it doesn't matter what Cruz's campaign position is, Mercer will tell him what to do.

I think we need committees on either side that can rein in their own people when they get out of hand.

“Touch-back is a total and complete lie.” & “Goebbels much?”

Trump said Wednesday in an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash that as president he would deport all undocumented immigrants and then allow the “good ones” to reenter the country through an “expedited process” and live in the U.S. legally, though not as citizens.

“Legal status,” Trump suggested. “We got to move ‘em out, we’re going to move ‘em back in if they’re really good people.”...

But he was also unwavering in his insistence that many of the undocumented immigrants in the U.S. are positive additions to the country and should be allowed to live in the U.S. legally — of course, only after being expelled and then brought back in through Trump’s “expedited process” for legal status.

“We have to make sure they were exemplary, they were wonderful people when they were here. They worked hard, there was no problem,” he said. “We have to bring great people into this country. OK? And I want to bring — I love the idea of immigration. But it’s got to be legal immigration.”

BARTIROMO:

Can we just send 5 million people back with no effect on economy?

TRUMP:

You are going to have to bring people - you are going to have to send people out. Look, we’re a country...

BARTIROMO:

So what will you do?

TRUMP:

Maria, we’re a country of laws. We either have a country or we don’t have a country. We are a country of laws. Going to have to go out and they will come back but they are going to have to go out and hopefully they get back.

But we have no choice if we’re going to run our country properly and if we’re going to be a country.

http://time.com/4107636/transcript-read-the-full-text-of-the-fourth-republican-debate-in-milwaukee/

On the Kelly File Thursday, Trump’s son Eric expressed frustration that the media overlooks this:

“The point isn’t just deporting them, it’s deporting them and letting them back in legally. He’s been so clear about that and I know the liberal media wants to misconstrue it, but its deporting them and letting them back legally.”

http://beforeitsnews.com/opinion-conservative/2016/01/trump-moves-to-the-center-i-support-amnesty-3094002.html

“I would get people out and then have an expedited way of getting them back into the country so they can be legal...A lot of these people are helping us...and sometimes it’s jobs a citizen of the United States doesn’t want to do. I want to move ‘em out, and we’re going to move ‘em back in and let them be legal.”

http://www.redstate.com/diary/southernconstitutionalist/2015/12/06/eric-trump-my-dads-immigration-plan-includes-amnesty-after-deportation/

We have to bring great people into this country, okay? And I want to bring — I love the idea of immigration, but it’s got to be legal immigration. Now, a lot of these people are helping us, whether it’s the grapes, or whether it’s jobs, and sometimes it’s jobs, in all fairness, I love our country, but sometimes it’s jobs that a citizen of the United States doesn’t want to do. I mean, there are jobs that a lot of people don’t want to do. I want to move them out, and we’re going to move them back in, and let them be legal, but they have to be in here legally....Otherwise, you don’t have a country. You don’t have a country, if people can just pour into the country illegally, you don’t have a country, but I would expedite the system.

And he endorsed the DREAMERs

We’re going to do something. I’ve been giving it so much thought, you know you have a — on a humanitarian basis, you have a lot of deep thought going into this, believe me. I actually have a big heart....I mean, a lot of people don’t understand that, but the DREAMers, it’s a tough situation, we’re going to do something, and one of the things we’re going to do is expedite — when somebody’s terrific, we want them back here, but they have to be legally...They’re with their parents, it depends. But, look, it sounds cold, and it sounds hard. But, we have a country, our country’s going to hell. We have to have a system where people are legally in our country.

Feel free to apologize for not knowing what your candidate supports.

If Rubio said the same words, you’d eat him alive!

So he's said that he wants to "expedite" the re-entry process LEGALLY. I got it. What exactly do you find so offensive about actually enforcing our existing immigration laws - expedited, or otherwise?

At least he's not dancing around the issue of what to do with the 40 million illegals present in our country. He has said time and time again, "They have to go."

What did Ted say when asked what he'd do with the illegals present in the country? He said we'll "have a conversation about it" after the border is secured.

I still like Mr. Trump's plan better than the tap dancing lawyer's.

"...Proven liberal record? He hasn't voted one thing...."

Why would he need to vote on anything? He has *QUITE* a history of liberal "NYC-Values" leftist, big govt positions on various issues. For but one of many, *MANY* examples, does, "THE GOVT'S GONNA PAY FOR IT!!" ring a bell? You know, the same statements and opinions that the trump-cult magically rationalizes away, because...

"...To hell with this parsing of interviews and cutting and pasting of comments..."

Parsing? It's a direct, unambiguous verbatim quote from your messiah trump where he *CLEARLY* describes his signature immigration solution: "TOUCHBACK-AMNESTY".

But I can empathize with your frustration constantly having to excuse & rationalize away trump's troubled, leftist, "NYC-Values" history. But if you think it's a chore now, just wait til' his "NYC-Values" appoints 3 or 4 Sotomayor/Kagen (at worst) or Kennedy (at best - at least I *hope* no worse than Kennedy) type justices to SCOTUS! And those are *lifetime* appointments! Trump's NYC-Values will haunt us for *generations*. Yeah, you guys can't handle criticism on the internet, but you don't seem to understand that we're the *least* of your problems...

If we don't have a country, all other differences don't matter.

This election is about one thing: GLOBALISM or NATIONALISM.

Will we remain a sovereign country, or will we submit to the globalists.

That IS “touch-back amnesty”, and it IS what Trump proposes.

It USED to be an unpopular option on FreeRepublic, but that was before Donald enlightened us all! < / sarcasm >
