Peyton Manningâs line-of-scrimmage hollerings are a thing of legend. They serve to instruct his offense while confusing the defense â and, consequently, the fans who can hear the screaming, can hear a particular city being shouted again and again: Omaha.

I always wondered. Eli uses it, too.

He could just say obama, as the truth is always the opposite of what his mouth says.

They’re weird here in Nebraska. They have a thing they call the Knights of Aksarben. That is Nebraska spelled backwards. So it’s an old tradition.

It is used to call off the hard snap calls.
It was to great advantage against the Steelers when the Broncos used it as a fake and went to a hard snap. Dealing a crucial offsides.

We wish. He said he was going to lead from behind, cripple the coal industry, force Obamacare on us, and bypass Congress like they weren’t there. And he did.

He should use audibles such as Dominos!, Pizza Hut!, Little Caesars! and get paid a bonus by those companies for saying such.

Hmmm, conflict of interest here. He does commercials for Nationwide, but Omaha can be a reference to “Mutual of Omaha.”

Well I’ve been leaning to Trump, if only because I want to hear him say to Barack, on nationwide TV, “YOU’RE FIRED!” Cruz would be OK, but just doesn’t have the pizzazz.

But the Broncos are the first across the goal line and the Bronco defense held Brady well away from the red zone in the first possession. Lots of time left, of course.

Good news.
A good day is when NE loses. Manning just seems to have a mental block about the Pats.

That’s a fib. He yells Omaha before every play, no way he’s reversing them all. It’s just the “ready”, getting everybody on cadence.

I agree. And because Eli does it, too, I’m guessing it’s a childhood “thing” the two of them have brought to the NFL.
